Avis les plus pertinents

  • Excellent Value

This camera replaces the same model that has a few parts broken....but still works. The ONLY shortcoming is the battery size. The battery goes quickly when doing videos or with constant autofocus. Take a fully charged spare battery along. Older Olympus used AA cells which were convenient but a bit bulky. There are many special features available such as time-lapse and bracketing that can helpful for some shoots. Oly got away from those XD memory cards and now use the more standard SD type.

  • Excellent point and shoot camera with just a couple of minor shortcomings.

I bought this camera to replace a point and shoot camera that was either lost or stolen during a trip a few months ago. This model is much nicer than the unit it replaced. The 30X optical zoom works very well but of course requires a fairly steady hand or tripod for good results. The built in stabilization is only so-so when zooming in very tight. I like the overall design of the camera. It is very sensibly thought out. Many cameras with loads of features overwhelm you with a panel full of knobs, buttons, etc. This camera only has a few external (hardware) controls. Apart from the menu control interface the hardware controls simply give you one-touch access to the features you need most often: Zoom, take picture, start/stop video recording and start/stop picture ...

  • Awesome Camera!!! Great value, would definately repurchase if needed

Great camera for price if you can't afford dslr then this IS the way to go!!! have had mine two years and love it. does have poor battery life however what camera doesn't when using 14 mp? buy extra battery and your set or bring charger with you on trips. Till I can afford a professional dslr then I am very happy with this camera more than any I have ever owned!!! If you think has poor blur when you turn on all you do is change to different menu picture setting. I use the Iauto and never have blurred problems for those who have this is the solution. God Bless

  • Nice camera, but be aware . Good value for the money.

This is a very nice camera, although it is made for a person with a lot of patience. You cannot just pick it up focus & shoot the picture. With this camera you have to have a very steady hand. Because if you move, even the tiniest bit, your photo comes out in a blur. So we or you can't use it well unless you put it on a tripod or a hand mount. The hand mount still might be hard. But if you can get it to stay focused , it will give you a great photo. It has a lot of advanced features, adjusting the way you want your photo to look. very nice feel in your hand. But if you can't take a good photo without a stand, I don't recommend it.

  • Takes great landscape pics, take along lots of extra batteries

Took this camera to Glacier national Park. Took great landscape pictures. However, If I hadn't taken along three extra batteries, I would have been in trouble. It goes through batteries like crazy. I had to sit and charge all four batteries every night and make sure they were in my pack. Otherwise, camera is lightweight and easy to use Don't like the fact that it didn't come with a viewfinder as the glare of the sun aggravated the composing of several pictures. Also, a handy, dandy little guide book would have been helpful. Don't like having to go inside the camera to find out how to use it............
