Product Information

Konami's genre-founding rhythm game series re-turns to Wii with 2010's simply titled Dance Dance Revolution. For the complete experience, the game is best played with a "dance pad" floor controller. The Wii edition of the game also uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, for whole-body motion control, and supports the Wii Balance Board, as well. Following a scrolling sequence of arrows that direct them how to move their feet and hands, DDR players swing their arms and step to the beats of a diverse selection of popular songs, including "Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, "Love Shack" by the B-52's, Train's "Hey, Soul Sister," and Sister Sledge's "We Are Family. The soundtrack also includes a number of original songs from Konami studios. The game features a "Choreograph Style" mode, in which players match the movements of an on-screen model, as well as sans-dance pad multiplayer modes, for up to four using Wii Remotes.

    Fun addition to my aging game system.

    The game pad itself is fun. The item was shipped with no instructions but that was fixed with a quick internet search. I am still learning how to use it so I am not sure if it is not as responsive as I would like or if I am just clumsy.

    Awesome Game!

    I love the original DDR. When they came out with the "Hottest Party" series, I lost interest in the game. This is perfect for what I am looking to get out of a game.

    I bought this game so it can help me by Motivating me to dance and excercise at the same time.I Also bought this game. Because it is entertaining and fun at parties. We play it at parties with other friends ,and it is fun to do the dances. The music is outstanding too . It helps you o loose weight Because while you are dancing you are also burning off calories..

    Fun, but need to be able to concentrate or a younger person.

    I bought this product to get up off the couch and get some exercise. I don't like that it is too fast for the beat of the music. I have trouble keeping up with it. It is fun and does have a variety of music. Maybe I just need to practice more. Overall it is fun and a good way to exercise. Just need to pick slower songs or use the practice part of it more.
