As another buyer stated there was water in the engine. I don’t understand why they didn’t plug the throttle body to keep water out. I had three valves rusted shut. If I had tried to turn the engine over I would have possibly broken or bent something in the valve train. They did free up after tapping them down at the top of the valve spring. There was also a good deal of rust on the cylinder walls. I put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders and let that sit for a couple of days before trying to turn the engine over. This also was good in case the piston rings were frozen. All in all for the price I’d say it’s a fair deal. With a little prep work and letting the engine run at idle for 15 minutes the engine doesn’t seem to be burning any oil. I also put Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel ... 07 civic engine with 45k for 785.00
I’m happy with this engine spend a lot off money trying to fix the original engine just waste my Money now tinge car sounds like new not problems at all good deal thanks guys

1.8 Honda Engine
The engine came to me with a broken water pump tube. The engine had oil residue which looked to be leaking at one point at all seals. Also appears to of sat outside for a while before shipment. Emailed photos to JDM and never got a response back.
