Easy way to Save Money
This book is a great help. I used coupons, but only cut out the ones I knew I would use, and never a coupon for an item I felt was too pricey. Of course filing the coupons and then finding them when needed was a pain. Stephanie Nelson's method is super! Just date the circular, check out her website (free!) and you only need to cut out the ones you are using that trip! Her website lets you know where to find the coupons you need. The book makes the whole process simple to follow. I can now feel generous and donate to the local food pantry as she shows you what items are on sale in your area and have coupons to make them free or almost free. I've always saved about 30% of my grocery bill shopping sales with coupons....now I've been averaging 60% with several times saving 75% or more! ... This book is a great help. No Secret ... This Book is a Must Read for those on a budget...
For those of you who follow my reviews, you will know that I am a non fiction lover and when I purchase a book, it is the result of pre screening from my local library to avoid wasting money on so-so books. A number of the "keeper" books in my collection are, like this one, tips and tricks (or secrets?) on saving money. Trust me when I tell you that the five star rating of this book is earned and not just given out. I am in no way connected to Stephanie Nelson, the author. This is the first of her books that I read and decided to purchase. The secrets may not be earth shattering but if you invest the time in reading and adapting and adopting them in your shopping habits, you can indeed get more for your money to the point that this book will pay for itself almost immediately. What are ... My favorite hobbies consist on couponing...I love to save a dollar. It is a challenge every week to see what I can buy... So on facebook I ran across coupon mom and added her as a friend on facebook , realizing she had a book out and found it on eBay and bought it...it is a great book. Tells you alot of strategic information and the do's and don'ts of couponing.. I am glad I bought this book and have enjoyed reading it...My favorite hobbies consist on couponing...I love to save a dollar. It is a challenge every week to see what I can buy...
