Part will save $100s
This does exactly what it says it will do. Allow you to replace your HVAC blend door without having to remove the dash. Yes, you have to cut the bottom of the Air Box, use a Dremel with a router bit. Hardest part is getting the old door out. I basicly ended up grabing it with pliers and snapping it in half. Once that is done, the rest is easy.

The only way to fix your temp control without tearing the heater box out.
This is the only way to go in order to fix a broken blend door without pulling the whole heater box. It is a straight forward job but, not necessarily easy. It is hard to get the old door out. I ended up having to break it into pieces with a channel locks to remove it. Installing the new door is also tricky. You have to carefully remove the metal socket on the top of the new door to install it. MAKE SURE TO MARK IT FOR ORIENTATION BEFORE YOU REMOVE IT. The only way to get the new door in is to remove the top socket, wiggle the door into position though the hole you cut into the heater box and hold it while reinstall the socket from the top of the heater box once you have it in position. Pay attention to your orientation mark so you get it in the right position. Also make sure you ... This is the only way to go in order to fix a broken blend door without pulling the whole heater box. It takes some time to do it all but my temp control works like new again.

Works Great!! good product
don't expect this to be an easy job but once it's done you should never have to fix it again....I found when putting in the new door you have to pry it into place an what I did was file the bottom seat post down a lil to give it more give to snap in place

Great designed part to fix inexpensively to save $$$
If your Blend door breaks, this is best deal to fix it yourself, it comes with directions or demo on UTUBE. Mechanics charge upward to $1700 to tear your dash apart to get to the door while disconnecting the heater and air conditioner. 1 hour of your time or less and it will be done.

Great repair part
This part was an exact replacement for my truck, follow the instructions they send with you. I watched a YouTube video and went by it before receiving my part, and ended up having to go by the directions with the part. But it worked out great in the end
