A remarkably accomplished painting by an artist whose fine reputation is clearly well deserved. I’m not a connoisseur of oil painting but I can easily see this is no amateurish effort. The technique is exquisite, composition well balanced and colors perfectly harmonized. The experience of a young woman relishing the touch of water by a wooded bank, her arm transformed by reaching through its clear surface, gives the observer a taste of nature’s magic, too. What more can one ask of art?

This wonderful bronze frog was a terrific introduction to the work of Frogman Tim Cotterill whom I didn’t know about. This piece is large and substantial with one of the unique finishes the maker is known for. It also captures a very froggy pose with its upturned head poised at an inquisitive angle. Delightful. I’m so glad to discover this very justly popular work celebrating frogs! Online I see he has now expanded to other animal subjects but none with the lively aplomb of his original frogs!

A splendid authentic antique Chinese crackle glaze vase in wonderful condition. It displays exceptional control in application of the glazes, with very choice white interior glazing to set off the green exterior. Marvelous low and wide foot ring around white glazed inset center. A masterfully made piece with a remarkably beautiful shape and excellent proportions. The neat brown top rim just finishes it perfectly. An outstanding piece in all respects from an always reliable seller. Thanks!
