    Dr, Quinn, Medicine Woman - Complete Series

    I bought this series because I so enjoyed it when I watched it when it first appeared on TV. The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman complete set arrived promptly in excellent condition. I opened the box and examined the discs, and they appear to be in fine shape. However, I cannot report on the content as yet because I have not had time to watch the DVDs. So at this point I can only rate it as good until I have watched the complete series, at which time, I will write an additional review, and may well rate the complete series as excellent.

    Dr Quinn Medicine Woman

    I have to admit, this was my most favorite show. I was really upset when they put it on hiatus. Its not that often when the whole family can enjoy a show together. This show teaches that its ok to seek out your dreams. No matter how hard it might be, keep trying till you reach them. Don't give up, even through the bad times. Its also a fantastic teacher on prejudices. Its really sad to watch how people think they are better then others cause of their skin color. This show does its best to make everyone equal. I love it. My hope is that maybe they can bring it back to primetime. It was a fantastic family show. At least I can watch the whole series on DVD. I would recommend it for the whole family.

    DQMW Great product great show great package

    I love this collection of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. The best part is that it is the complete collection of the series and the 2 additional made for TV movies made after the series was unceremoniously canceled. I'm not loving the way the DVD's are stored but it's a small annoyance. I loved the way the package looks on my DVD shelf though, nice looking product. I bought the product because I love the show and happen to be a Jane Seymour fan. She is extremely underrated. If you love family oriented programming this is the perfect DVD collection. I don't feel uncomfortable leaving my nephews unattended watching this show. They love the indians and soldiers, I love the family friendly fare.

    Worthwhile purchase

    Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was a series I enjoyed watching when it aired on TV. Now I am enjoying it again with the complete DVD series that I purchased. It is definitely worth the money! My family watches very few shows on TV because of the violence, adult themes, etc. This is a great series to watch as a family. Jane Seymour and Joe Lando are exceptional in the series. The subject lines and historical information written into the episodes are also well done as well as entertaining. I only wish there were more seasons of Dr. Quinn. Families need more good, quality, wholesome shows to watch. This DVD series was a great purchase for my family.

    Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman - The Complete Series

    I remember watching this show while it was being broadcast. The DVD collection I am enjoying far more. One, because there is no commmerical breaks; and Two, I am appreciating the historical accuracy of those turbulent times on a deeper level, probably due to my age. The series deals with a lot of issues, not usually taken on by prime-time television back then. But, they exposed things too long hidden, and acomplished it, in a matter-of-fact way. This is one of my all-time favorite shows. I am thrilled to have the whole collection, instead of purchasing each season separately. For a purchase that the entire family can enjoy, discuss, and appreciate - this is the collection to buy!
