Product Information

Infinite Undiscovery is an action role-playing game from the designers of the Star Ocean series. The setting is a planet whose moon is literally chained in place, shackled to prevent others from basking in its life-giving properties. The organization responsible, the Order of Chains, has also unleashed a great evil upon the land. Fierce creatures run free while innocents are captured and held within a mysterious prison. The lead protagonist is young minstrel named Capell, a prisoner of the Order of Chains. His fate is to save the world from the diabolical Dreadknight and his chains of doom. To fulfill his quest, Capell will battle an assortment of fantastical creatures alongside a party of three computer-controlled characters. Key features include a day-night cycle, enemies requiring varied tactics to defeat, and a real-time combat system free from the transition sequences typically found in console role-playing games.

A great game, ultra fun after reading other reviews
First, my favorite games: Xenogears, FF6, FF7, King's Field 1 and 2, metal gear series. I love rpg's with great music and story, everything else is secondary. After reading reviews, they ranged from bad to average. This is misleading. I have found that most reviews are based on mainstream people or other mainstream games. A good rpg cannot be reviewed that way. This game has far more good points than not. It also has some outstanding features I have not seen before. #1 is that it has no random battles. That makes the exploration not only bearable but fun. To add to that, you can clearly hear where a secret item or wall is. Locate it by sound so you don't waste your real life searching every nook and cranny. (which in recent games has ended up being a real waste of life, I haven't played ... In other games I would either run back and forth for 30 minutes to an hour or resort to looking a guide up online - which always led me to seeing things I did not want to know about the game. These things along with the great voice acting, music and story made this a lot of fun for me. And while I keep hearing that the graphics are bad, I do not agree. They are not polished but they have a good look and many areas are really nice to look at. The bad points: the first thing I noticed was the somewhat "puppety" appearance of the face movements. I quickly got over it due to the absolutely outstanding voice acting. One of the very few games I couldn't get enough of the characters talking. (not since hearing solid snake say anything) There are also, strangely, a few times when cut scenes do not have any voice work although these have subtitles. Again, not a problem considering you still get the story. But it does seem out of place. All that said, it was a great experience with a very cool story. It unfolds well and keeps you wanting more all through the end. One of the best rpg's I have played on a next gen system, if not the best. I completed Lost Odyssey before this and while it started with a bang, it ended with me wanting to burn all 4 discs. So if you like rpg's give this one a shot. Especially for the sub $45 category you cannot go wrong!

This is a really cool game the graphics are awesome it's kind of like the final fantasy look and feel to it. There's several characters to choose from, but you also travel with them and you can use their skills to fight off enemies along the way. You go around getting items and looking for them, but the challenge is just getting away from the enemies because you never know where they're going to come from, but they can seem to pop up out of nowhere. Square Enix does it again
What do you know Square Enix made another great RPG. The only thing that good be better about the game I think is the graphics but I have only played it for an hour and the movie scenes look awesome. The story so far is amazing as well. I would suggest buying a book for the game just like any RPG because you never kno what is hidden. The fighting engine is aslo cool because it is free formed and not turn based which can get old sometimes. This game is not as good as Lost Odyessy but if you like RPG's at all this is a must haveWhat do you know Square Enix made another great RPG. LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT, I LOVE RPG GAMES. IF THERE MADE BY SQUARE ENIX, IT'S ALWAYS A AWESOME GAME TO PLAY. i DO NOT DISLIKE THIS ITEM AT ALL IT'S PERFECT. I DECIDED TO BUY IT CAUSE I LIKE RPG GAMES AND THIS ONE HAS VERY GOOD GAME PLAY AND GRAPHES. WOULD RECOMMMEND THIS GAME TO OTHER WHO LOVE RPG GAMES....

Great game
I've been looking for a game that makes me wanna rush home and get back into it, I haven't had one in a while, until I bought this game. The characters are easy to like and to get attached to. I give the game a 5/5 probably the best game I've bought all year in this genre.
