Avis les plus pertinents

  • Great value for the money. I would recommend this model of camera.

The Yashica Mar 124 G is a great camera for those wanting to get into a Mediun Format film camera. I find it easy to use, but download the manual if you dont have one. The battery must be adapted to use a modern battery. It accepts both 110 (12 exp) and 220 (24 exp) film. This is something that not all twin lens cameras can do, so be advised. The viewfinder may need a cleaning, decades of dust and hair are always present. The light meter (with a proper battery or adaptation to a new battery) is fine for C41 and B&W film but you should meter for E6 film. Many peole say they have used E6 with the built in light meter with good results, I must admit I have never tried it, have always metered for E6. The Yashica Mat 124 G is a fine camera and will yield EXCELLENT results. I would ...

  • The camera is great like most of japanese cameras very dependable and good

This câmera sold by village godies is in mint contion. I put a new baterry and I am taking fotos with 6 X 6 cm lens. It is much ligheter than a Rolleiflex and gives Picture first class just the same. This model is very popular and easy to find in good sahpe. And is not costly. Prices varies but since is made by the tens of thousands you wont find a problem finding it. The copal shutter is very accurate. The weight is 40% les than a Rollei. The lock and film sealing is safe. The taking lens is sharp and the viewing lens very bright. The esposure meter is na issue, some do not work, if it is not working do not my advise is not try to make it work, use a stand alone manual exposure metter instead.

  • Well built n easy to use. A great and affordble alternative to a Rollei

An affordable alternative for those who would like to start out with medium format. It's pretty well built and feels really sturdy. The optics are good but of course ain't comparable to the Zeiss on the Rollei. It's really sharp when shoot around F8 and above. However for the price, it's really nothing to complain about. Compared to the Yashica 124, the 124G gear feels a little course. The older version TLR seems to be more silent and smooth. All in all, it's a nice camera and certainly worth the money .

  • I Love this camera.

I love this camera; It's stutter speeds, f-stops and 120 format. It is a sweet camera I've been printing images and they look great. I have also been using a pinhole 120 and I wanted some flexibility and this was perfect. The price was good and better than the greedy ones.

  • A good option to start MF, but there are better ones if you can afford it

The Yashica Mat 124G was my first "real camera" and I still have it and use it. It was designed following the Rolleiflex design but is slightly lighter, it had a better meter than the Rollei "E" and "F" models. What you don't get is the Rolleiflex quality, the amazing lenses and that magical name on front of the camera. Being a Medium Format camera, the results you get with is, by far, a lot better than you'll get wih a 35mm camera. Even that a lot of people said that the Mat124G is the worst of all Yashica's TLR since part of the mechanical system is plastic instead of metal. Today I have another Yashica (a plain "Mat") and it's noticiably better build. Anyway, the Mat124 is a very good camera to start the MF adventure and certainly is in another league than all this LOMO cameras, this ...
