I love this smartwatch. Pity they sold to Fitbit.
I've only ever owned Pebble Smartwatches, mainly because I value the battery life, Android compatibility, and reliable notifications they typically have. I loved the design of the Pebble Time Round, but it's battery life was barely 2 days and recharging it was unreliable. The Pebble Time had much better battery, but was bulkier and would frequently reboot (might be why I got it so cheap as a refurb). After nearly a month, I can say these have not been issues with the Pebble 2. Sure, I don't get the color screen of the Time, nor the stylish look of the Round, but for sheer utilitarian function in a minimalist, long lasting (nearly a week between charges), and well-built (waterproof) package, I couldn't be happier. If you are looking to dip your toe in the smartwatch waters, it is hard to ... Great upgrade from the original pebble
I have owned the original Pebble(twice) and the Pebble Time before purchasing this one. I liked the Time a lot but it was a little bulky. Both the original Pebble and the Time had watch faces that scratched real easily. The Pebble Time got so scuffed up I could hardly read it. The Pebble 2 has gorilla glass, a noticeably lower profile and has the features that the time had. The screen is real clear, you can answer texts with voice and it has excellent battery life. Take your eyes off of those fitbits!
I am so happy I purchased this. I have randomly gotten into 5k runs and this is the best way for me to stay active and technologically in-sync. The notifications are so handy at work and the battery life is AMAZING! Please buy this -- you can even text your favorite five people from your watch! It is also really sleek. I get compliments all of the time! The customizable watchface is great. The app is handy, too!I am so happy I purchased this. Can control music volume & playlist; Great for workouts & Spotify Has an Apps store; Free downloads & customized watch faces. CONs Discontinued by the manufacture and is no longer officially supported. The unofficial "Rebble" website is the only way to get all the features up and running. Not very durable, on my 2nd watch because the side button wore out after a year of heavy use. The watch is a quality item. It tells time, date,year, and shows the amount of steps taken and sleep cycle information and logs them daily. It also links with your bluetooth phone and shows messages on its display. The phone has a good battery life and is quick to charge. The disadvantages include no heart rate monitor, no oxygen level sensor no bp monitor and you are unable to answer your smartphone using this device. I gave it 4 Stars because it lacks some features . All in all is is a good smart-watch for every day use.The watch is a quality item.
