The longest-running animated show, and the FOX network's most popular series ever, THE SIMPSONS continues to make television history in its seventh season. Unfolding in the fictional town of Springfield, the show features TV's most dysfunctional and best-loved family, comprised of lunkish patriarch Homer, genius do-gooder Lisa, mischievous Bart, baby Maggie, and Marge, the voice of reason. This season sees the celebration of the 138th episode, which takes a look back at the show's origins on the TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW, with producer Troy McClure and also some "hardcore nudity." In "Scenes from a Class Struggle in Springfield," Marge's new dress leads to a struggle to fit in down at the country club, while Mr. Burns's horrid bowling abilities almost brings down the team in "Team Homer." Other episodes include "A Fish Called Selma," "Much Apu about Nothing," "Homerpalooza," and "Who Shot Mr. Burns." The numerous guest stars include Courtney Thorne-Smith, Chris Elliott, Mickey Rooney, Linda and Paul McCartney, Bob Newhart, Donald Sutherland, and Kirk Douglas.

    The movie

    The first disc worked but it paused in half way through a movie and it start to froze and so I try the second disc it didn’t work and I was really heart broken about it I was sad about it because as put the second dvd in it froze my tv and it didn’t work then I put in my computer it worked then I realized it was.     A Must Have Collection!

    This season was one of the best and should be considered a must have out of all the The Simpsons Seasons. Every episode was full of surprises and laughter, especially with the celebration of the 138th episode which shows some of the show's origins on the Tracey Ullman Show. Season 7 features a lot of great episodes including Part 2 of "Who Shot Mr. Burns," "Bart Sells His Soul," and "Two Bad Neighbors" where former President Bush moves into the neighborhood. Other episodes include "Homerpalooza" where Homer thanks guests The Smashing Pumpkins for their gloomy music because it has made his kids "stop wishing for a future I can’t possibly provide," and "Bart the Fink" where Bart inadvertently gets Krusty the Klown busted for tax "avoision."     A LAUGH OUT LOUD AFFAIR FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! A++++++++

    This season is my personal favorite. It has many twist and parts where you see the good of the show. Their are episodes where you do not expect Other cartoon shows to dare show. For example "president bush moves into the neighborhood" episode is a great classic. Another good one is "avoision" where Krusty and Bart have a fit with each other. An instant classic! In my opinion the jokes are very ingenious. A laugh out loud type of show where the kids can actually watch. It is good for long Road trips where your children are in the back of an SUV or minivan and you do not want to be hassled with. Along with the 25 laugh out loud episodes, you get tons of extras. These are great to watch during your spare time and unlike other DVDs where you never watch the extras, these are actually WORTH ...

    Great value to watch this classic over and over.

    Good worked well, except disc two had three episodes skip. Overall happy with it.
