      Couldn't be happier with my 1TB drive.

      This is my first 1TB drive and so-far it has been heaven. I use it to backup all my data, and I mean ALL of my data. This drive has freed-up 7 flash drives and 5 hard drives ( ranging from my smallest flash drive at 1x2 gb to my previously largest 1x320 gb laptop drive in an external enclosure ) and the 1TB drive is only half full at this point. This is a "must have" item for anyone wanting to free their "extra" drives for use or for keeping track of what data is where and for security purposes when used as a backup, secure and not online most of the time as mine is. The drive is fast and problem-free and the prices are beginning to become more competitive with drives much smaller making them irresistible from an economical perspective. I can't vouch for other makers of this drive size but ...

      Size Matters

      It is always fun to get new things but when you get a 1tb hard Drive then you have 1024gb not 4gb like I received. This is not acceptable, and this prevented me from a finishing a build on time. I understand it could be just a bad one in a batch but I ran disk management and put it in another computer and same 4gb on the drive in each place.

      Good Value Product

      I don't know that much about computer components but this is a copy of the one in my high end dell machine. it lasted 10 plus years so I figured it must be a good one. Being a manufacturer recondition the price was right compared to a new unit. My fear was to buy a new unit then the mother board would take a dump or something..but all is well, Microsoft reloaded the os and all has been fine.

      Hard drive donor

      Had to recover data from another hard drive and this was perfect for what I needed. Circuit board was easily transferred and the chip was also simple to transfer from the old circuit board.

      Failed Hard Drive

      This Product did not work. The Device Powered Up was not Recognized/detected by my CPU.
