Two Survival Action-Packed Movies Paired up!
Dante's Peak has and will probably always be one of my favorite natural Disaster movies! You felt like you were watching Real People Dealing with Real issues!! This movie takes the cake over movies like Volcano or Deep Impact! There was simply more meat in the characters and more involvement with surviving the disaster! The intricacies of escaping didn't come across as you having to have superhuman abilities which made this even more believable!! This is a Keeper!! Daylight, a perfect match to the Peak! Daylight has perhaps a little more action. more death...and in order to survive you would that superhuman skill that I was referring to in Dante's. Of course all those ingredients is necessary since Stallone is starring which this is one film I actually like him in. This is still a must ... The method and survivability of the event which lead the last two survivors to the top of the water seems to be far fetched. I am able to suspend beliefs and enjoy the film. Both are Keeper and are in my Video Library!!

Dante's Peak/ Daylight - two big thumbs up !!
These are 2 of my favorite movies ... Dante's Peak is about some researchers checking an unactive Volcano for signs of activity and soon they discover its waking up and there is some really amazing effects in this movie, when it erupts it devastates the quiet little town of ... you guessed it Dante's Peak" ... there is a very good storyline also that makes this a very easy movie to sit through I would rate this at least an 8 out of 10 if not more ... well worth watching ... In Daylight Stallone plays the hero ex police chief that saves the day ... this is a very edge of your seat type movie that has an excellent storyline and lots of action and suspense ... I rate this one at least a 9 of 10 on my scale ... There is a robbery and the getaway vehicle crashes into an underground tunnel ... These are 2 of my favorite movies ... There is a robbery and the getaway vehicle crashes into an underground tunnel beneath New York and it triggers a huge wreck where there is an explosion and everyone in the tunnels thats left alive have became trapped underground in the tunnel with smoke and fire from the explosion cutting the already short supply of oxygen by the minute, then to make matters worse there is a leak from the wall collapsing which threatens to flood the whole tunnel at once if it breaks all the way through ... Stallone is in top notch action in this movie ... if you haven't seen this movie yet its a must !!
