I have collected over the years many early to present day Clapton's music on cd as well as vinyl but skipped over the Boxed set until now. I am very happy with the purchase. Great 4 CD Boxed Set!!
This is an amazing Clapton 4 CD boxed set and the CDs are in excellent condition. The collection contains most of Clapton's ATF songs but I bought it because it also contains the complete Derek and The Domino's second album, which was never been released!!!

Although this album was released in 1988 it gives an accurate history of one of England's best guitarist. From his early days through the mid to late 80's this album shows how Clapton's tastes evolved over the years. What I like the most is the alternate mixes and the previously unreleased cuts on the album. It shows how Clapton was not afraid to venture into uncharted territory, one not usually taken by a single artist. I have wanted to invest in this album for some time and I'm glad I finally did.Although this album was released in 1988 it gives an accurate history of one of England's best guitarist. From his early days through the mid to late 80's this album shows how Clapton's tastes evolved over the years. What I like the most is the alternate mixes and the previously unreleased cuts on the album. A tribute to a true bluesman!
It is still debatable whether Eric Clapton is a guitar god, but man this guy had soul! No matter what band he was in or who he played with, this guy was always at the top of his game. Because of this box, I might even try out some work by Cream and Blind Faith. Those two groups are - in my opinion - the best of the box. If you like rock with an old fashioned blues twang, by all means buy this set. I guarantee that it will be difficult to be dissappointed.It is still debatable whether Eric Clapton is a guitar god, but man this guy had soul!
