Blu-Rays and HD Have Knocked My Socks Off!
I have been wanting to buy a Blu-Ray player for quite a while after hearing that DVDs are becoming obsolete and will follow the same fate as the VHS lol and at the same time to see what the hubbub I've heard about Blu-Rays and such. I got mine really quick and it is impressive HD quality that works with my HD TV I own, and it was very affordable unlike the cheapest Blu-Ray players you can find at Walmart or Target. Now the only problem I have with this is that it pauses for long periods of time, or just completely freezes up, whenever I'm watching movies on Netflix. I'm not sure if it's just my Internet connection or the Wi-Fi receiver on this or the Wi-Fi router I'm using or- I don't know, I'm not tech savvy so idk what the heck the problem may be! lol But interestingly enough I have no ... And speaking of Netflix and YouTube, the HD quality on Netflix and YouTube via this unit is superbly brilliant! I am still trying to get used to what button does what and where they are and trying to avoid not pressing the Netflix or Pandora buttons on the remote control lol, not that affects how I feel about this product or anything, it's merely an issue I have with any type of new electric appliance :P The seller is very responsible, and I recommend purchasing from him/her!

Regardless of the brand you buy I see people buying models on eBay that don't have built in wifi. In reviews they've admitted they didn't realize the difference between a smart blu ray player and a wifi blu ray player. The cheaper models are wired. No built in wifi. They still can get Netflix, etc, but they need an ethernet cable to connect to the router AND an HDMI cable to connect to the TV. Not very convenient if the TV and the router aren't in the same room. With the built in wifi it couldn't be easier. 2 connections. That's it. Plug in the power cable and connect the HDMI cable to the TV. Then pair the wifi with your router. Just like my wireless printer, my laptop, tablet, phone, even my desktop computer, you connect to the internet with wifi. Not with ... Those 2 plus Youtube the only ones he uses. So overall for a model a few years old it was not only a great price and a brand new/sealed unit it has some great features. And I already have another Samsung that's a slightly different model so I know that they have great performance. This model really has everything except the 3D for the blu ray player. But since we don't really watch DVDs this is the best way to add Netflix to your TV because for the price it's like getting the blu ray player for free.

Product is good. Not knock your socks off amazing but good. It does what it says for the most part. I found, even after ensuring all firmware was updated, that it's just kind of slow. Slow as in responsiveness. Push a button, give it a few seconds. It's ok when watching a movie, but browsing through netflix is annoying. Also, I mainly bout this to link with my samsung galaxy note 2. I thought it would do the same thing as the dongle and mirror my phone, which it does not. Maybe I misunderstood the allshare deal. (I wound up gerting a dongle...worth it) So I'm not going to take a star for that. But the responsiveness is definitely worth -1 almost -2 stars.Product is good. Excellent PROUCT
Easy and simple set up and compact and convenient design. very happy with this product. If you need to add wi-fi streaming to you television this is way to go. Dont wastes your money on a single use box and then turn around and buy a second devise for blue ray. I wish I had know about this player before I SPENT a 100 bucks on a wi-fi box only. four stars and more.
