Good, fun DVD of MY Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (4th Generation)
Having a pencant for children's programing, I bought the DVD for myself. There is a phenomenon going on involving My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (4th Generation, MLP) and people of all ages and genders enjoying it. MLP: Fim is wonderful and full of positive messages, perfect for children ages 5-12 (specfically tailored towards girls' toyline, all children may enjoy it). It shows us that the diverse main characters of the series, though their personalities are quite -- from being sophisticated to a bookworm, to a tomboy, to very shy, to a worker, to a party animal -- are not only still able to be friends inspite of their differences, but it also shows us that young girls can embrace what makes them special and different, and still be feminine. Unlike MLP of the past, the series not ... Having a pencant for children's programing, I bought the DVD for myself. Unlike MLP of the past, the series not overly saccrine and at times is a little edgy and grown-up with its humor (but not too much for a kid's show). The DVD The Friendship Express has the 2 episodes which opened the series and a few additonal episodes which revolve around The Friendship Express, the train used in the series. It is an excellent gift for anyone who likes the new series, especially the older fans, as one in particular epsisode is seldom shown and has generated a stir due to its brief showing of the controversial character Derpy Hooves who was a shout out specifically made to the older followers having pointed out and assinged a name to an artist error on a pony's crossed eyes in one of the first couple episodes. There are not very many special features on The Friendship Express. However, there are a few bios brought to life by the character's voices in the extras section that are fun to listen to. From what I've read this the best compliation of the series released so far. I would reccomend it to those that are unable to get The Hub or really like the series, young and old.

a must buy for any fan of MLP, PPG, or just L.faust fan
. im a fan of PPG and when i found out L.faust worked on this i had to give it a chance, ever since then i've been a brony XD . i like all things about this product. i would like to see a box set of MLP, but idk if that would come to stores . the packing is great. nice case and cover art, and they didn't do any cost cutting like putting holes in the case like some i bought
