You get what you pay for...
Inserted the battery, set the clock and ready to go -- easy set up! However, noticed that the sensors do NOT give identical readings even though they're setting side by side in draft free area. (Checked for a week.) Outdoor temp reading is 1.8 degrees lower than indoor temp. I have calibrated test equipment, so decided to check further and discovered the inside temp runs 1.5 degrees low and outside temp runs 2.3 degrees low from standard calibrated test temp. Not a huge variation, but my past experience with Taylor equipment has been excellent. Of course that equipment has all been / is all Made in the USA. Unfortunately, in my opinion, Taylor has chosen to tarnish their long heritage with cheap import materials; AND have apparently also chosen to not hold their Chinese manufacture to ... Save Your Money!
This unit is totally NOT worth the money! The inside unit reads 2-3° higher than the actual temperature with no way to adjust the reading. The outside sending unit works for about 10-20 minutes d then quits sending leaving the outside temperature showing "-- " on the inside unit. it's been reset 5-6 times to no avail. The readout on the inside receiving unit is very light (ie. NOT BOLD) on both the inside and outside temperature displays so as to nearly make it unreadable. When the inside receiving unit is set on a countertop or desk you have to squat down or bend over to attempt to see the readout. It should be positioned at a slight upward angle so it would be more readable. Bottom line: Save your money and buy another product. Nice indoor outdoor digital thermometer
This has been a good thermometer in the past and I was happy to find a new one to replace my old 2010 unit

Outdoor Temperature
Unit gives me the outdoor temp to within about +/-2 degrees which is what I wanted it to do. A good value. The only improvement would be to have a bigger more readable display. Other units do that at just a little more cost.
