You won't regret buying this set...an awesome gift to Petty fans!
I was absolutely engrossed in the creation of this band. These DVD'S contain 4+ hours of footage that I had never seen before. I had just finished Petty's book before ordering this,so it was like the book came to life,plus more. I loved Tom Petty,loved his band and this DVD is worth every penny. I highly recommend "Running Down a Dream to all Petty fans!

Heatrbreakers LIVE!
Quite possibly one of the best touring bands of all time! These guys were & are virtuoso's on the instrument they play and more. This concert & some of these versions of songs are just mind blowing. I had multiple opportunities to see them in the late 70's & 80's, and they were great live then! Pure rock n' roll energy! Now holy smokes they rock! But ,as older musicians you could see their greatness in these later performances. Benmont is one of the premier pianist's in any type of music. Mike Campbell is one of the most under-rated guitarist' of our time. Simple licks that just slap you in the face. Ron Blair is a gifted bass man that holds that rhythm down. Steve Feronee on drums is just pure solid. Scott Thurston is just amazing singing background ,playing a solid ... Quite possibly one of the best touring bands of all time! You will not be disappointed even if you paid twice retail for this collection! RIP to Tom & the Heart Breakers! Long live Rock n' Roll!

Great Bio
What a great behind the scenes story that I was unaware of. TP is so comical, well versed, and had much to share with his viewers. Ture, how can you not like Tom Petty? Something for everyone, for sure!

Dream for real
If you are a Tom Petty fan or even if you're not, this rockumentary is awesome. Running down a dream follows Tom and the Heartbreakers through thick and thin, interviews with some of the biggest names in music, the legend in the making. You'll sing all your favs..because you know all the words. Stunning what a genius he was. RIP.

Tom Petty is an excellent sing writer, singer and all around musician! This documentary is just touching the extraordinary artist he was. Very well done.
