SOUTH PARK TENTH SEASON
The landmark season of South Park saw Matt Stone and Trey Parker's animated series back on top thanks to some scathing, satirical moments and just plain animated lunacy. It also saw the departure of Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef, who departed after the previous season's lampooning of scientology and Tom Cruise. His departure is spoofed in the opening "Return of Chef" which uses archive sounds of Hayes' voice as Chef returns to South Park brainwashed by the Super Adventure Club, and seeling to "re-connect" with children. Things only get better as Kyle's dad buys a hybrid car in "Smug Alert!", Al Gore seeks attention from anyone with "Manbearpig", Cartman's mom turns to the Dog Whisperer in "Tsst!", Satan has a killer Halloween party in "Hell on Earth 2006", and Cartman seeks to freeze ... The best moments of the season however came with the two part "Cartoon Wars" which hilariously lampooned Family Guy, and it makes sense in a way you've never imagined. "Make Love, Not Warcraft" satires the players of the incredibly popular online RPG, and "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy" finds little Ike having an illicit affair. The only downpoint of the season is the closing "Stanley's Cup" which finds Stan coaching a terrible pee-wee hockey team, for no apparent reason. This episode just isn't funny, at all. Despite that though, every other episode here in the tenth season is a winner, and ten years and still going strong, South Park proves that these kids are quite alright.

This is One I'm Hate to Admit I LOVE!
A good friend of mine got me interested in the SouthPark shows in around '98 or '99. Never thought it was worth my time until I was subjected to it. If you have a sense of humor your gonna think its funny! SouthParks writers take all the major events and happenings we see on the news everyday and spoof or make light of them. It helps you remember that its okay not to take everything so serious all the time. Sometimes the best way to get through a bad situation is to stop and find the humor in it and just laugh it off. It really also gives you a different perspective on some matters. No, its not for kids. So many people have ridiculed South Park because its animated. All animation is not for children. So So Southpark
I am a big fan of Southpark but for me this season missed the boat. There are only a few funny shows on this DVD set. I really found a lot of the shows uninspired. The Man bear Pig, the two Buck Rodgers shows, really just dragged on. I did like the teacher has sex with Ike episode, the war craft, and the dog whisper episodes were good but really I think Southpark had a hard time getting over the loss of Chief. I decided to buy it to add to my collection had I known it was such a bad season I would not have bid so hard to get it. What is funny is listening to the commentary Matt and Trey stated after this season was over they thought they would be canceled. I agree with that statement and I am glad the show was not canceled but with the loss of chief and such a week season I am surprised ... Great South Park Season to Own! Season 10 is Hysterical
I bought this because I viewed a couple of the episodes on southparkstudios.com and wanted to have these episodes available to watch anytime. This seasons episodes are all hysterically funny. I think anyone who is a fan of South Park and anyone who is a fan of great comedy would love Season 10. This show takes on some of the funniest pop culture events and makes fun of them, such as: Satan has an MTV style sweet 16 party, Oprah's book club, World of Warcraft, Dog the bounty hunter, Dog Whisperer, and so many more. South Park is one of the most controversial tv shows ever, yet it is also one of the funniest. The tenth season is no different.
