    Best bang for your buck!

    After having the urge to have some quality headphones and searching for the best bang for my buck, it left me with the Audio Technica ATH-M30. I compare and contrasted all the headphones around the price range of these (and even up to $100) and I'm glad I chose these. Now, I am no audiophile and I have no other (over the ear) headphones to compare these to, but I must say that they are very comfortable and my music has so much depth. The music across the whole spectrum is just so much more lively. The bass is smooth and deep, but don't expect them to thump like subwoofers. The cord is something like 15' long, and the connectors are of great quality!

    Glad I bought, but my ears were at first sore.

    I bough these because my old Sennheiser 360 Pros broke. I found these for a good price and wanted to try them out ans I had heard good things about the brand. The sound quality is great and I can definitely say it is a good upgrade from what I was using before. The cord is strong and the connector is very sturdy. The only bad thing about these headphones is that they hurt my ears for a few days of use. Eventually I got used to them, but expect ear pain at first.

    Definite Quality for the Money

    While I am not an audiophile nor a studio engineer or recording musician, I can tell the difference when bass is too strong or the high-end is screeching too much. These ATH-M30 headphones provide great clarity and are perfect for my needs. I haven't used headphones in many years, relying primarily on ear buds because they were "more convenient" when I needed them. However, I had never found ear buds that I was truly happy with. The closest has been the Philips ActionFit SHQ1000/28 In-Ear Headphones which provide pretty good quality sound for what they are but they are still inside my ear. Thus my quest began to find headphones that did not cost a fortune, produce good sound, and are comfortable for long periods of time. I read a lot of reviews and queried my friends.     i usually never leave bad reviews but i just had to warn you how uncomfortable these are.

    if you are planning on using these over 20 minutes, dont buy them. they cause extreme pain on and around the ears. i have normal shaped ears. no position stops them from hurting. the sound quality is decent, but defiantly not worth the discomfort. and wow, ive only used these about 5 times, and the wire is already messing up and only playing out of one ear. i have never been so disatisfied with a headphones in my life. this is something i would expect out of dollar tree headphones, not headphones advertised for use in recording.

    Will hurt your head if you wear them for more than 2 hours.

    At first I was happy with these, but unfortunately I would return them instantly if I could. I study for long hours, and I needed, "workhorse headphones" that could perform that long. Unfortunately, these headphones squeeze my head so bad they give me headaches. I can only wear them a max of one or two hours before they are driving me insane, so they might work OK for you if you plan on using them only for an hour or so at a time. Beyond an hour or so, they're worthless. Doesn't matter how good headphones sound if they try to juice your melon. I even tried bending the frame, but they still give me headaches. Aside from the excruciating pain these headphones give me, they sound very nice. Very smooth low end and high frequencies are always distinguishable.
