Product Information

In Brave Story: New Traveler, you are an 11-year-old with an unconscious friend named Miki. After trying unsuccessfully to wake Miki you are transported to the world of Vision. Here, you must begin life as a "traveler" and work through many ordeals to meet with the Goddess of Fortune. As you adventure through the game, you can meet other characters and add them to your party. Getting to know each of these avatars opens up cooperative battle skills that are useful when facing an enemy three times your size. <br><br>Combat sequences are played out in a turn-based format that is designed to emphasize the ideals of bravery, growth, and friendship. Attacking enemies builds up the "brave power" meter that indicates your current courage level. When it is full you can perform a special attack. During your journey you can find special gems and birds hidden in each location. The gems can be used to create or modify weapons, and the birds are used in mini-games or traded for rare items. By connecting to a wireless network, you can trade birds with friends or compete with them in a mini-game.

    RPG Old School Awsomeness Ready For the Picking!

    I will say it. I enjoy old school cliches. Generic RPG style, give me stats, give me skills & combo skills by leveling or participating in battles...makes me a happy camper...and you'll more and likely win me over. I dislike complication. Old(er) gamers are aware of what made there staple rpgs back in the 80's and 90's a now steaming pile of *censorship* in many of today's games. I personally have never been to an AA or an NA meeting, but I do know they really enjoy K.I.S.S (no, not the Band from the 80's...although there might be a connection there...hmmm)...anyways, K(eep). I(t). S(imple). S(tupid). I don't need to be reminded by others, (game makers) on how [conceptionally/physically/meta-physically] horrific/divinely/normal/subnormal/abnormal my personal ...

    Excellent RPG for the PSP

    This is one of the better games I have played for the PSP. Your character travels into a fantasy world with catgirls and lizardmen and sets out to get your wish for a dying friend granted in an RPG format. As you meet new characters who join you on your quest, your sword grows in power and your Bravura skills increase in strength and number. So far, I have noticed that a lot of extra leveling isn't necessary to advance in the story. Also, characters who are not currently in the party (maxed at only three)gain experience at only a slightly lower rate than those in the party. This means that you don't have to do a lot of extra leveling in the game, if you don't want to. Oh, and did I mention catgirls? All in all a very good RPG for the platform.

    You should try it!

    Brave story has good graphics, a more than decent storyline with characters you'll be sure to at least appreciate and music which won't get on your nerves in the first 10 minutes. Theres a lot of dialogue so if you don't like that this may be a bit difficult for you to handle. But if you can it'll add to the game rather than detract. So pay attention because not knowing where you're going will mean alot of walking! In the end its great value for money and defintely worth at least giving a shot. How often do you find something this unique these days?

    Great Game

    I bought this game today and it's amazing. I really enjoyed the anime movie that the game was based on and the game was just as amazing. I was impressed with the 3D graphics, the storyline, and the music. It seemed to follow the animated movie perfectly. I would highly recommend this game to any psp owner that is looking for a change in pace in their rpg games. The only complaint I have is I wish there was more voice-acting for the game. There were some parts of the game that had a voiceover but the main storyline points needed to have some voiceovers to make the game more interesting and aesthetic.

    Great RPG

    One of the best RPG from the PSP. If you like the Final Fantasy series, then this title is a MUST play. Great story as well. If you’ve seen the movie, then you must play this game! There’s a revelation in this game.
