Used SOL REPUBLIC shadow bluetooth earbuds
I love the sound of these headsets and the added benefit of multipoint technology. However, when it comes to dependable wireless connection, they fall short in this department. The extended antenna the manufacturers claim improves the connection when listening to music becomes broken and distorted with the slightest movement of your head. I have a set of throwback bluetooth headphones that I use from time to time and not once have they lost a connection, regardless of where my device is. I'm confident the next version of the Shadow will have a more stable bluetooth connection. Bottom line, if you're looking for a great sounding set of sweat resistant earbuds with crappy reception at a premium, you've come to the right place. If not, then skate on by because there are better ones out ... I love the sound of these headsets and the added benefit of multipoint technology. Great sound
I've used earbud-style headphones for years. These things sound better than any of the wired versions I've used. And they sound a lot better than the LG and Skullcandy bluetooth headphones I tried previously. The downside is that the earbuds tend to slip around in my ears during exercise or activity. It's an annoying design defect. If you plan to use these during exercise, look for another brand. If you intend to use them while sitting down or otherwise stationary, they'll work fine.I've used earbud-style headphones for years. Thumbs way down
Sound is great and I would greatly appreciate said sound if only they would stay on my neck long enough for me to enjoy it. I am a custom carpenter & use them to listen to music while working in my shop. No running, no jumping, no twerking, just average every day head phone use on a slightly above average size neck, and they literally fall off about every 10 min. Also have I not managed to get more than 5 hrs of battery life with continuous music listening. On a side note, they have endured a few frustrated tosses against the wall & seem to be holding up nicely....except on my neck that is.Sound is great and I would greatly appreciate said sound if only they would stay on my neck long enough for me to enjoy it. Doesn't measure up to other headphones in it's class.
The microphone used to make phone calls does not work. Also, the design of the product causes them to constantly slip off of your neck. Lastly I do not like how the earbuds do not retract. The LG tone series is a much better alternative.
