Product Information

In this heartfelt drama, Park Overall stars as Gail, a bereaved mother whose son, Andrew (Seth Adkins), is abducted by her ex-husband. Held captive for five years, Andrew is eventually returned to her care, but the reunion is less than joyous. This is due to the fact that Andrew is a very troubled child who is unable to interact socially, or express himself emotionally. Gail is forced to make an impossibly difficult choice: devote all of her time and energy to her son, or send him to an institution. Overall delivers an emotional performance as the tormented mother.

It was very heart warming though it had parts that would bring tears to your eyes it also at times caused you be very angry at his dad and vert heart broken for his Mom,Step Dad ,Nana and his little brother. To realize that he took him because he called his stepdad daddy number 2 and that it wasn't because of Love and the thought of looseing him to his step dad but to punish the family. To treat anyone the way that he treated Andrew let alone his own son should have been handled the same as murder, he took Andrews childhood and both the boi Dad and the girl friend should have been punished serverly . It also scared me to think that he could get out have more children and do the same or worse to them. The way that he returned Andrew to his mom making her worry and fear for Andrew until the ... Andrews StepDad has proven to be a very Loveing and loyal Dad giving Andrew the space that he needed giving him much needed time and love with his mom and even though rightfully afraid at times for his other son he never over reacted . I wish that it had never happened but as it did I am glad that they made a film to warn parents that it could happen although I don't know what his Mother could have really done to prevent him from takeing him if not that day another day . It was a sad ,heartwrenching story with a great (ending) showing that with his familys help Andrew will someday become a good powerful, loving Man, Brother ,son and grandson .
