Good quality
The motherboard arrived looking brand new. The only trouble I had was fitting the I/O shield which may have had as much to do with my case as anything. Good value, arrived in time, no issues as of yet and performing as well as expected.

Solid example of a 775 motherboard--Great value & performance. Gigabyte has been my choice for motherboards for the past 10 years. I wanted a low-cost, but powerfull motherboard for my Wife's media computer & this one fit the specs nicely. Coupled with a Quad 3.0GHZ processor & 8G of DDR2-800 ram it will give most newer computers a run for the money while costing a fraction of the cost for a "new" computer. All in all--money well spent.Solid example of a 775 motherboard--Great value & performance. Gigabyte has been my choice for motherboards for the past 10 years. Worked great, even with my Xeon e5440
Once I figured out I had to specify the slower of the mixed memory I had in the system everything worked great. It has flast before boot which is very useful too.

I've been using this mobo for 5 years (since 2007), on constantly 24/7. The main reason I like it is that it has interfaces for PATA and SATA HDD. Even the old "floppy" drive if you so desire. Of course its major problem is that its CPU socket is 775 which has been obsoleted. That's no surprise, happens every three years by Intel. I like this mobo so much that I have a spare one (used, off ebay, hope it works). And some day will try and load W7 on it to see its compatibility with W7 drivers. Anyway, I'm now running W2000 OS on this mobo and as far as I'm concerned, W2K is as good as it gets. Later MS OS's are just more bloat. (I just got a GA-Z77MX-D3H mobo with i3 CPU for games. Installed W7 on it and W7 is so bloated/wordy in its "trying" to make things simple. Yuuck. W7 will ... I've been using this mobo for 5 years (since 2007), on constantly 24/7. Great performance board
I have always loved Gigabyte boards from the socket 7 era. This board offers most all you would need. PCI-E 16, SATA II, 1333 FSB, DDRII-1066, Dual-Bios and a large CPU support. The price is reasonable compared to previous boards through the years and still performs with the Gigabyte reputation. Four SATA II ports are efficient for most consumers as well as up to 8 GB of memory and plenty of USB 2.0 support as well. It lacks SLI but most newer cards today perform as well or better than 2. I could bore you with my system specs but instead I'll just say for the money most consumers running Vista or 7 64-bit will not be disappointed!
