Get into the body of an eight-legged, multi-eyed tarantula in this 32-level, 3D graphic adventure from Boss Studios and BMG Interactive. You control the spider, a bug with the conscience of a scientist who, in 2018, was shot for his cybernetic spider inventions. As an arachnid, utilize different arms both offensive weapons and defensive tools to crawl to victory against the evil forces that have caused your current physical form. Of course, you're not limited to ground movement alone. The walls and ceilings are also home to your web-spinning ways, but you have to be cautious around all obstacles, whether it's fire, water, or just a plain test tube you're only an inch tall! Your fearsome adversaries include slugs, bats, an energized cerebrum, and a host of vile creatures. Take control, strap on some new arms, and don't get stepped on!

Well, this game is about a scientist that is attack at his lab but just before that he manage to get control of a cybernetic spider. Now his mind controls the spider and there's not much time to figure out how to recover his unconscious body from the attackers. It would not be that easy since the lab is full of different kinds of cybernetic insects that will attack you with their weapons. This game is like side scrolling with a 3D enviroment where you look for your spider cybor upgrades in order to defeat your opponents easily. I guess that in 1996 when the game was release the story and grafics were good but compare to nowadays it could be a little to simple for some people. If you like old fashion games this it will be ok but if you are looking for an insect adventure game I woul ... PlayStation Spider Game Review
The game "Spider" by PlayStation is easy to follow on how to beat the opponents as you go through each level by arming you with different weapons besides the knife that comes with your spider that you use to fight each levels opponents with. I like that you travel through the scientists lab areas and try to gather different pieces of the disc to reveal who the killers of yourself were. There are no bad things about the game that I have found so far. It is an excellent game to play for one player. Fun classic game
I remember seeing this game for the 1st time at Blockbuster being displayed on one of the TV’s and being blown away at how “real” the spider looked. Clearly this is no longer the case BUT the game is still a lot of fun to play. I recommend this game for anyone looking for a unique, affordable game for the PlayStation
