A MUST HAVE DVD HILARIOUS!!!!
Hilarious!! I 1st saw this show in a hotel in Iowa. It had my wife and I cracking up with tears!!(multiple times) Our stomach's hurt from laughing so hard. We have been hooked on Kenny Powers ever since. We rented the 1st season DVD because we dont have HBO and we HAD to see the rest of the series. The laughter is never ending from one episode to the next. Alot of our family and friends have never seen or heard of Eastbound & Down. So I bought a couple for some stocking stuffers. Now, I want to warn you. If foul language. And seeing alot of Alcohol and Drugs being consumed by Kenny Powers. Along with some nudity offend you. Well then, I hate to say it.. Fantastic and fresh show . Highly recommended .
Adults only , It's very similar in style as most Judd Apatow movies . Danny McBride is certainly one of the best improv style actors . Since most dialogue is improvised he really shines and his wit and somewhat off color humor make this show as good as it is . I am shocked as to how little fan fair there is about this show . Granted it's not "high brow" humor , it's witty and fun all the same . If you enjoyed Pineapple Express you will absolutly love this show . The special features are just as funny if not more so than the show itself . Do yourself a favor and get this .Adults only , It's very similar in style as most Judd Apatow movies . Funniest HBO Series
This is one of the funniest HBO series made to date. It is my personal favorite comedy series (besides Always Sunny in Philadelphia). I was so excited for the 2nd season and now am excited for the 3rd season. I DVR'ed the whole 1st & 2nd season and watched them all back to back and it made it even better. I dont think HBO expected it to be as liked as it was since it was not marketed well but it has a cult following. Kenny Powers is hysterical and so selfish & dumb but yet, hard to not like or feel sorry for. This is worth every penny spent!This is one of the funniest HBO series made to date. great quality from seller; funniest HBO series of all t
I love Eastbound and Down's work by Danny McBride. Vulgar, yes, but if you can stomach the humor, you will laugh all five out of five stars from beginning to end. Too bad it's only six half-hour episodes, but I hear season 2 is on its way. I have watched this show all the way through several times and still can't stop laughing. Also, Will Farrell fans won't be disappointed with his performance.

SSSSOOOOOOO FUNNNYYY
Danny McBride stars in this comedy about a washed up baseball player who moves in with his brother and takes a job as the gym teacher at a local middle school, McBride is hilarious in this role, everything a a teacher can do wrong, he does, if you want to laugh til you cry, pick this up!
