    Great book for beginners.

    This book has everything a beginner would need, having said that, as my friend began to show me how to can green beans, she referred to her book for reminders on every step we were about to take. My friend has been canning for over 40 years, but still believes it is essential to refer to the book for a fresh look before canning. I immediately got a copy for myself!

    Canning Dictionary

    If you are a complete canning nut you will find this a great addition to your existing collection of canning, and preserving recipes...easy search, great photographs. Even a canning novice will enjoy the read... I intend to use this as final comparison research for what I seasonally prepare out of my garden...the reason I chose this Ball book was I felt it was time to modernize my methods..one cannot be too careful when preserving foods especially low acidity items...

    Balls Complete Book to Home Preserving

    This is such a complete wonderfully easy to use instructional. As a new canner, I was not sure I wouldn't need a person (who has canning experience) helping me step by step because I have never really canned anything before. I must say I have started with my first jams and jellies and everything is so easy to understand and I feel I can move on to more complicated methods. Thank You for creating this book. Love it! Blessed reader and consumer of the Ball Products.

    Absolutely loved it very precise instructions. No matter where you live this book will work for you. Anyone who wants a detailed description on canning this one has it all in one book. Highly recommended for who wants to can anything a+++++

    Great book, best around

    This is the ultimate book on canning. Even if you know how to can the recipes are worth the price. It is also hardcover and will last a life time. I have had mine for 18 years now and purchased this for my daughter in law for Christmas.
