In December 1999, we learned that the teenage killers specifically targeted Rachel Scott and mocked her Christian faith on their chilling, homemade videotapes. Rachel Scott died for her faith. Now her parents talk about Rachel's life and how they have found meaning in their daughter's martyrdom in the aftermath of the school shooting. "Rachel's Tears" comes from a heartfelt need to celebrate this young girl's life, to work through the grief and the questions of a nation, and to comfort those who have been touched by violence in our schools today.     San and enlightening!

    Wonderful book--also heartbreaking. It shows that even if kids THINK they are big and old enough to not be checked on, they are not. If the parents of those 2 killers had been watching I am sure they could not have missed all those fire works. How do you hide 100 pipe bombs??? Inattention!!!

    Must read. The world has grown darker, not better, since Columbine. Get Real

    One young lady who made an eternal difference in wicked circumstances. Be prepared this was not a one off situation. More coming soon.

    Rachel Joy Scott and the Columbine Tragedy

    Rachels' Tears is about Rachel Joy Scott and how God prepared her and a group of young people who committed themselves to follow the word of God to make a difference at Columbine high school. The parents of Rachel Joy Scott discovered that Rachel had wrote 5 diaries and was confronted with a young lady who loved God and tried to live a christian life no matter what the cost. This is a must read. Beth Nimmo and Darrell Scott tell a story of how God used this tragedy to minister to thousands of people, young and old alike, world wide. Read this book. Bet you can't read this book with dry eyes.

    100 percent committment to Jesus Christ costs you all

    I loved buying on ebay because I got a book in excellent condition for a good price. I bought it for my 13 year old granddaughter who I pray will seek God's will for His purposes for her in these last days. Rachel was 100 percent committed to Almighty God and her death for Jesus Christ has brought many into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. I want my granddaughter to know giving her all to Jesus is worth it in the end and for all of eternity. She is precious to me and God has a plan for her and I want her to know it will cost her everything, but it will be worth it all. Eternity is a long, long, long, time and her soul will live on forever and ever and I want this book to be an inspiration to her to commit herself to Jesus Christ and fear not for God holds her in the palm of His mighty hands.

    Very good book.

    I bought this for my daughter who just turned 18 and happens to be named Rachael. I think this is a good book especially for those teens that are going through trials and temptations in their life. The book is a good example of no matter what trials and tribulations a teen may go through for keeping to their faith, the impact to others around can be enormous. I would advise this to the teenage girls that love Christ and know that they are not alone in how they feel and believe in their High School years.
