Perfect solution
Before knowing these kits existed, I tried doing it myself. Unfortunately, the motor I bought was too weak for my pickup truck windows. I really only needed the passenger window automated but you can't buy this type of kit for just one window so I installed it on both and they work like a charm on my 2004 Toyota Tundra standard cab. The only downside is that you need a key in the ignition to move the windows. I didn't do a direct battery connection since the switches light up and it would drain the battery. I can go weeks without driving the truck so too risky. I used one of the power ports (cig. lighter) as the power source. Just need to make sure not to move both windows at the same time or might blow the 15 amp fuse. Power window for everyone.
The product is of good to high quality especially considering how inexpensive it is. Instructions are pretty much useless until you look at several utube videos. Look at the videos carefully and then the instructions start to become a little more clear. Took me about 8 hrs to install and works fine. A little noisy but my windows were noisy to begin with. I installed in a 2006 f-150 stx pu. Great value for the price.The product is of good to high quality especially considering how inexpensive it is. Universal Power window kit.
Bought one of these kits before and the driver side was used the most and the motor burned out in about a year and a half. The cold weather seems to have an effect on how it works it's moves a lot slower. Someone else may not have this problem as all cars are different. but overall I would recommend this product.

Surprising how powerful these are
I installed these power window motors in a 2004 Nissan Frontier base model. There was plenty of space in the door panel for the electric motors and the kit included everything I needed. I didn't use half of the things in the kit since they are adapters for other vehicles. It took about 4 hours to install the two motors in both doors. The hardest part was figuring out how to attach the brackets to the motors and drive hubs. The instructions covered the wiring OK but I spent a little time on google looking at images of other installations. The wiring harness doesn't come assembled to the door switch connectors so you can snake the wires through the weatherheads on the door jamb. Just match the connector wires colors up to the ones on the door harness and assemble the connector. ... I installed these power window motors in a 2004 Nissan Frontier base model. Don't make the mistake I did and test the driver door before taping off the wires to the passenger door. I forgot about those loose wires and shorted them out for a bit. I've had these motors installed for a few weeks and I'm very happy with them. The windows roll up and down fast and steady. I've very pleased.

Great for the money
Works great, with many adapters, installed on 2003 Ford Focus zx3. The only thing that could be better would be the snap rings that are supplied, because they do not stay on the shaft. But other than that it's alright. Would recommend to a friend
