Product Information

After conquering the kitchen on DS and Wii, Mama brings her touch screen-style homemaking skills to the backyard. Similar to the control scheme used in Majesco's Cooking Mama games, Gardening Mama has players using stylus strokes to plant, prune, and pick a bounty of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. As many as 35 different plants are available for play. As with cooking, instructions must be followed correctly for best results, as different plants require different care. Fertilizer helps plants grow big and strong, and pests must be eliminated. Items the player harvests can be used to create finished products, such pressed flowers, jam from fruit, and jack-o'-lanterns from pumpkins. These products can be collected and traded with other players online. Success in the garden unlocks new outfits and accessories for Mama to wear and items such as planters, pots, and fencing that let players customize their garden space.

Nintendo DS Gardening Mama
My 8 year old daughter liked it at first. She played it for about a week and then gave up on it. I decided to play it myself before trading it in. I found it to be fun and sometimes challenging. Basically, you are given a few garden plots and specific flowers that can be grown there. You can work on multiple plots at the same time, and the game will tell you which plots need tending to at the moment. As you finish each round of gardening tasks, (if you have completed any tasks perfectly) the game will tally any bonuses you receive. 3 bonuses earns you a gift box with a surprise in it.....could be something for you or something for your garden. When you have finished growing a plant, other plots will be unlocked....some in different gardens....I LOVE the fruit garden!! I think ... My 8 year old daughter liked it at first. Did you have fun learning how to cook like a Japanese Chef? If yes or if you are new to Mama's games well now is the time to see if you have a green thumb ,you can plant decorate etc. You have 200 mini games you can play in this new game the with the help and teachings of the lol not so patient Mama you can have fun planting flowers fruit etc. Great fun with the usual funny anime style Mama funny faces!
