The handheld Sennheiser e945 Dynamic Cable Professional Microphone is a super-cardioid vocal microphone designed for pro audio recording of vocals in a studio or for high-quality sound at a live performance. Sennheiser refers to the cardioid pattern of the e945 as a super-cardioid pickup. The super-cardioid pattern provides powerful background sound rejection while collecting a warm, natural, transparent sound from the intended source. Because of its clear and accurate fidelity, this mic can be used to capture voice, guitar, or other instruments and is at home on the stage in the hands of a lead singer or in the recording studio in front of a background singer wearing headphones. The handheld Sennheiser e945 dynamic cable professional microphone has a wide frequency response and uses technology that delivers consistent performance across a wide range of temperatures and environmental changes. The Sennheiser e945 has a frequency response of 40 to 18,000 hertz at a nominal impedance of 350 ohms. This wide range allows the Sennheiser e945 mic to pick up subtle variations of tone and pitch, which makes it a valuable vocal performance tool. The shock-mounted capsule gives the Sennheiser e945 dynamic mic a low sensitivity to handling and impact noise. This microphone also features a Hum Compensating Coil that reduces electrical interference and helps to provide a clean, clear sound. The Sennheiser e945 dynamic cable professional microphone also has a neodymium ferrous magnet with boron. This magnet keeps the microphone stable regardless of climate or indoor temperature. The e945 dynamic cable professional microphone is made in Germany. The mic is 47 mm by 186 mm and weighs 365 grams without accessories.
