Product Information

Home on the Range' is an animated musical Western, starring a mismatched trio of cows: Maggie, Mrs. Caloway, and Grace. The three cows could not be more different from each other, but they must team up to capture the infamous cattle rustler Almeada Slim so they can use the bounty to save their farm from its impending foreclosure. Along the way they meet other animals that help them in their quest, and the film follows the comedic adventure as the characters gather friends and grow. The voices of the characters include Roseanne Barr, Jennifer Tilly, Judi Dench, Randy Quaid, G.W Baily, Richard Riehle, Lance LeGault and Anne Richards.

Wonderful charming film
It was a shame that this movie didn't do well on it's first release, but knowing that it happened with earlier Disney flicks, that doesn't stop me from enjoying and having fun from this wonderful family film set in the wild west where a trio of cows set out together to collect the bounty on saving their farm from forclosure. To do so, they'll have to face all sorts of dangers in order to track down Alameda Slim and collect the reward money. The reason I liked this movie and keep it in my favorites list is because the tone, style, charm, and music take me back to the earlier days of Disney animation in the 1950s like Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. Yes, I admit it's no Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, but so what? It was cute and funny enough to not only keep me entertained, but turn ... No matter how many years pass and which new Disney movies are made, there will always be a place in my heart for Home on the Range. Roseanne Barr, Judi Dench, and Jennifer Tilly were the perfect match for the cow trio to match their personalities perfectly. Maybe not the best Disney movie in the world, but charming and entertaining for Disney fans of all ages.

It Saved the Day!
I keep my 2 year old grandson during the day while i am listing on ebay and he loves this movie sometimes he plays it 2-3 times a day. He wore out the tape he had. He was heartbroken. But within a couple days we had a new tape - he's happy and I spent less than $5. If that doesn't make ebay EXCELLENT I don't know what does!
