I had been looking for these canisters for a long time. I immediately bought and was very hopeful, yet concerned that they would arrive broken and all not would be well. To say, they arrived beautifully is an understatement. They were wrapped so well and in perfect condition. Rest assured you can trust and feel confident from this seller. Good vintage machine sews beautiful try to find one with the capacitors replaced.
They are good machines but they are getting old and need the electronics gone over,mainly capacitors. They sew beautifully but not easy to work on and you can,t buy many parts even used on eBay. So if you buy one be sure to check it before buying unless you have a lot of money to pay to repair one.I just replaced the capacitors .The capacitors cost less than $2.00 a piece you need 2-of them it took me an hour but I took my time soldering took 10 minutes. Best stitches I ever seen by any sewing machine.This machine is a work horse and more powerful than the 830 record. If you can snag one for $600.00 complete you got a heck of a good deal more like a steal.Honestly a well equipped machine that can sew denim like nothing and also sew beautiful satin stitches.They are incredible machines. Another blue-label Bernina
The Bernina 930 Record is the best sewing machine ever! This is the third one I have purchased (all through eBay) over the past two years. I have one for my design studio, one for travel, and one for the studio I use in the business where I do restoration of vintage textile products. This particular buy was spectacular, even though the machine was incomplete. As described by the vendor, it did not have a bobbin or a presser foot, but I was able to supply those from my own stock of accessories. Something tells me that this machine was bought by someone who barely used it; it might have been stored away with little thought, and the accessories were stored elsewhere. Nevertheless, it joins my stable of fine sewing equipment. The machine itself is in pristine condition, and it sews like a ... The Bernina 930 Record is the best sewing machine ever! Bernina 930 review
Couple of issues, tension knob does not work but I was able to get around that and make the machine sew as it should. Did not include any bobbins which I am pretty sure should have been with the machine. Window that shows stitch progress does not work but that does not affect quality of stitch.

Bernina’s best workhorse of a sewing machine
I have not used the particular 930 being sold here, but I have sewed everything on my own Bernina 930 Record workhorse machine since I purchased it new in 1982. It has never given me any trouble, just has had an occasional cleaning, oiling and adjustment by the local dealer. Now it is my sewing machine of choice for piecing quilt blocks. The best Bernina mechanical sewing machine, and used by three generations, as I taught my children and grandchildren to sew on it too. I have not used the particular 930 being sold here, but I have sewed everything on my own Bernina 930 Record workhorse machine since I purchased it new in 1982. It has never given me any trouble, just has had an occasional cleaning, oiling and adjustment by the local dealer. Now it is my sewing machine of choice for piecing quilt blocks.
