A Gothic Rock Gem.
Well even though I may be a little sick of listening to this album at the moment. I always come back to it like an old friend. "Deep" the 1989 release for Bauhaus front-man Peter Murphy is a timeless classic and a must have for any goth rock fan. It's no surprise that Murphy would have at least one solo album that would stand the test of time like "Deep". The album starts with a demanding drum beat that is powerful, but yet tender and melodic at the same time, and the album ends with you wanting more. There are so many incredible things to say about this record ,but I'm to lazy to write it all down. The highlights are in my opinion every track, but if I had to just pick a few from this 10 song masterpiece they would be "Crystal Wrists" Marlene Dietrich's Favorite Poem", and "Roll Call". Oh ... I love the mood this CD puts me into, music is my therapy against most things wrong in life or the world. I discovered this CD on Pandora and had to get it after hearing the song "Seven Veils." i really enjoi this cd .i do like bauhaus although they can be rather dark at times this cd a feel isnt .my favourite song would be crystal wrists .i have have not listenned to any more of his solo work but from all reviews i have read they as cds i will be buying .

Great CD!
I love this album. Peter Murphy is outstanding in this. I loved him in Bahaus, but this album is similar style but he makes it his own. It is filled with awesome music and lyrics. If you like his older work, you will love this!
