Product Information

Based on the concurrently released Aardman Animations film, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit puts players in control of the eccentric inventor and his imperturbable dog. Local gardeners seem to be suffering an infestation of hungry bunnies, so the two volunteer their creative engineering expertise to help remove the pests. With the Giant Vegetable Growing competition right around the corner, there's no time to lose. However, when they capture one of the ravenous rodents -- a nice enough rabbit named Hutch -- Wallace begins to suspect that the problem may involve something beyond the garden-variety Lagomorph. <br><br>Players control Wallace, Gromit, and Hutch through a series of freely roamed suburban platform levels, assembling and using a selection of unorthodox tools (including the "Pesto Pal," "Auto-brolly," and "Bun-gun") as they try to humanely remove the rabbits from town. Each character has different abilities, and players can switch between the three on the fly. Environments are full of interactive objects, which could lead to creative problem-solving or unexpected chaos. Even with all of the equipment and support, removing the rabbits will be a difficult job, but it will become twice as hard after the sun goes down, and the bunnies all start acting...funny.

    Wallace & Gromit : The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (XBOX)

    This was an expensive purchase when first released, but you can now pick up a pre-owned copy in good condition for just a few pounds. I love the game levels - especially vacuuming up the rabbits at Tottington Hall. The graphics are very good, but I don't think Aardman will be hanging up their plasticene in favour of digital animation any time soon. This is not a first-person shoot-em-up game, Wallace & Gromit are far too refined for that. This makes it a good choice for the younger X-Box users out there. My nephew is an absolute master of the X-Box and it did not take him long to realise you can't use Gromit to karate chop Wallace. I hope you find this review useful and happy game-playing.

    Confusing & Scattered

    I am finding this game to leave me thinking "huh?"... I'm not impressed, at all. Too much going on, challenges are way too difficult... Don't get me wrong, they are "challenging", but I am an adult (40 years old) and can't imagine a child, more the likely the key demographic for this game being able to successfully complete most, if any, of the challenges. I can normally play a game, have fun and put it down feeling like I enjoyed myself - with this game, I try to play it, I give up feeling frustrated and lost. If you enjoy definate challenges, rather than game play, and if you can handle not knowing what to do next, then try it out. On the other hand, to sum it up - challenges are too difficult and frustrating. The story (granted it's a cartoon) is dumb. There as so many challenges ...

    Rocked!

    One of the best video games I've played. You won't be disappointed! It's a lot of fun, and there's so many things you can do. The game is pretty much the film, except you deicde what happens. I got this game to get myself pumped for the annual vegetable competition in a couple of months, and I submitted my biggest pumpkin and strawberry. My pumpkin got 5th place, but my strawberry won 1st! I owe it all to this wonderful game.

    Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit Xbox

    My kids loved the movie so I thought they would enjoy the game, and I was right. My kids are 9 & 5 and really enjoy playing this game. They become the characters and it follows the movie so they know what to do and expect. I would recommend this game to anyone with kids, if you didn't mind the craziness in the movie, then you would approve of this game.

    Its a very friendly kids game, very similar to the movie theme...It has many levels and scenes...I had ttwo kids 8 and 3 years old and ther love it!!!
