You won't regret it, specially if you carry it around often
Very compact and amazingly light, the perfect companion! The only thing missing at his point is the retina display, that I am sure will come in the next generation. Our sight is so used to the HD displays of the phones and the iPad 3 that when we started using this one, it looks like the text was out of focus, but once the brain get used to it, you beryl notice the difference. Charge the battery way faster than the iPad3 so that figure may compensate for the monitor quality. We thought that keyboard was going to be an issue, but not at all. Please note that we type with 6 fingers at the time. So far, and after a few months of continue use, we are 100% satisfied, to the point that I am selling my iPad 3 to get another miniVery compact and amazingly light, the perfect companion! Everything you need in a tablet.
I really like this iPad. It has all the functionality (minus the retina display-- which wasn't important for me) of the regular iPad, same camera, same processor etc... but is smaller. I love this size for the keyboard and for carrying anywhere (can even fit into cargo pants pockets!) I thoroughly enjoy this device and its uses as a mobile banker, textbook, messenger and much more!!

Work Horse.......With Great Features
I absolutely love my ipad mini 1st Gen., I feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck. It's a work horse that's the perfect size to fit into my purse with great performance every time. Apple has also come a long way in backwards compatibility with apps too when I select an app from the app store that's not support by my older device I am immediately presented with the version available for my devices and IOS version.I absolutely love my ipad mini 1st Gen., I feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck. Just what I needed. Works great!
Works great, wonderful condition, and works just as good as the regular size! It's quick, easy to use, and compact. I use it for work, research, personal study, and fun. I'm so happy I chose this for my anniversary gift, and that my husband agreed to it! :-)
