Okay for airsoft, but mine came with ghosting.
I bought this product for an Airsoft AEG, so if you're looking at this product for a real firearm, consider looking at a different review. I gave this 3 stars because it's decent for my application, but that doesn't justify the issue, especially for someone planning to use this for home defense or some other critical application. I would still recommend it to someone looking at this for airsoft or paintball, but for firearm application, buy at your own risk, and if product is defective, take advantage of eBay's return policy. I haven't taken the sight outside yet so I can speak as to how bright it is outdoors. It was my understanding that this was a "both eyes open" sight, but what I am noticing is that there is a small amount of ghosting on mine when both eyes are open, but also with ... Sightmark....misses the mark. Huge disappointment.
I should have known that I was going to be disappointed when I opened the box and it was black....not camouflage like I paid for. Okay...no biggie. The sight seemed sturdy by when I turned the unit on it had a ghost image (like double vision) and that was the only image. No adjustment to the different reticle styles either. Just the double vision...smh Junk...sending it back for refund and going to pay up for a real sight like I should have to begin with. I wouldn't bet my life on this crap.I should have known that I was going to be disappointed when I opened the box and it was black....not camouflage like I paid for. Okay...no biggie. Good for the price..... Not a finished product needs improvements.
This sight is what you pay for..... definitely not for big recoil firearms but it is very cool and easy to install. I believe with proper installation and a small bore rifle or pistol it will serve the function well.... easy target acquisition. do not look at the reflex lens but through it at your target and the recitals are clear and bright, even on sunny snow covered fields. Biggest issue was when installed on a heavy caliber pistol the lens popped out after only 3 shots Krazy glued back in...... 6 shots later lens cracked... shot over 1000 rounds with it mounted on my .22 magnum rifle worked great for rabbit hunting.This sight is what you pay for..... definitely not for big recoil firearms but it is very cool and easy to install. Cheap and functional
Simple and effective red dot. Holds zero on .223, but wouldn't trust it for anything higher in caliber. Bright enough to see in sunlight and has nice crisp emitter patterns.

Sightmark Reflex Sight
Removed from box and mounted it on my S&W 22 Victory. Bore sighted it for 25 ft. Fired one 10 shot clip to zero in. Then proceeded to put two 10 shot groups in a 5 in circle. This thing works! Makes target shooting kids play!
