Exactly what I was looking for!
This book is the perfect starter to learning how to print. The pages are simple and uncluttered so a preschooler/kindergartner won't be overwhelmed. It's extremely sequential and easy to follow. The downside is that it isn't all-inclusive....there is a separate teacher's manual needed to fully use this workbook. I wish there were more Scripture tie-ins and Bible references within the workbook itself so I didn't have to buy a separate manual to get full use out of the product. Perhaps the K book is just too young for that and the odler grades will include more. Overall, I like the product and plan to use it for all 3 of my children.This book is the perfect starter to learning how to print. Reason for Handwriting
I used this book with my own children when homeschooling. I bought it as a donation to a program that helps disadvantaged women and their children. Mom was VERY appreciative of the book to help her son learn to write using correct procedures. It is good for left to right progression, printing using counter clockwise circles to make letters. All while drawing in a fun coloring book format. Makes learning fun. Would highly recommend the entire series to learn handwriting.I used this book with my own children when homeschooling. We love this book!
When we first started this book my daughter was not too excited about writing. However, we have now completed the first 20 or so pages and she is absolutely loving it! Handwriting is the thing she always wants to do. The animals that go along with each letter/lesson really captivate her attention and help her to focus on her work. She is doing so well with her writing - I am just amazed. Also, viewing the lines as a treehouse is very helpful in explaining to her where the letters should start, stop, etc. I love this book and would gladly refer anyone to it!When we first started this book my daughter was not too excited about writing. A Reason For Handwriting
This is a great handwriting book. I comfortably teach without the teacher's guide. It allows the student to practice both upper and lowecase handwriting of all the letters. On each page is a treehouse to show the student exact placement of the letter (ex: p,j, and g have a tail that go below the line). I would recommend this to any friend.

Fun and age appropriate work for Kindergarteners!!!
I'm so glad I chose this curriculum for Kindergarten! My daughter loves it! Not too much to overwhelm her. But enough so that she feels like she did her "school". :-) She loves to color the animal pictures after doing the lesson for the corresponding letter. I think it's appropriate for the grade level.
