    One of the best HU I've ever owned. Crystal clear sound,powerful,ALPINE

    My pioneer HU quit picking up radio channels. I figured that I probably shook something loose on the inside. I've got a monster of a system 2x15 in Kicker comp, Cerwin Vega stroker 1000.1 mono amp, 3.5 Cap. Anyway I wanted a HU that had more voltage for the RCA outputs. The pioneer had 2v outputs and did a good job. I was blown away by the difference the Alpine 4v outputs made. My jeep hits like it never hit before. On the downside it doesn't have some of the fine tuning options that you would expect to find. That's pretty much the only drawback to the Alpine. The Alpine HU picks up radio strong and clear. The WMA/MP3 let's you pop in a jukebox disk and listen all day. I've had a lot of different HU and this Alpine-9807 is up there with my favorites. Let's hope it hold up to abuse better ...

    Its cheap because its old, but I DARE you to find better.

    If you're looking for a good head unit with lots of features this is it. Sure it was designed and made in 2003 but it's still at the top of the class. Aside from bluetooth and ipod controls there's nothing better, honestly. The 4 volt pre-outs are still the best in class, the front, rear, and subwoofer outputs make it extremely flexible when adding more and better speakers to your system. Your can purchase, on ebay, a cheap adapter to add aux input so you can add your ipod, phone, or other media devices to listen, just not control them through your deck. The audio tuning on this unit still surpass many i have used in the last 9 years. it VERY easy to tune, adjust, and change inputs. The design is intuitive and clear making the user interface simple to work with while keeping your eyes on ...

    Must say that Alpine decks are superior over any deck made.... I am very pleased with the product purchased and enjoy all the features that come with it. Excellent condition and worth every cent.

    The faceplate was in a good condition with only minor scratches but the buttons have the response that you want. Over all very good buy.

    Worth the price

    I've been running one of these in my car since early 2002. I have been extreamly pleased with the performance, specifically the sound is awesome. I bought this replacement after damaging my original unit by shorting a speaker. I have also got a 350w sub with a pair of 10s hooked up, outreageous sound for an old Buick....
