Most People do not understand The Carters
I really can not do justice to a perfect couple. Google the Carter Center, see all this couple has done, and while President Carter is in the lime light Mrs. Carter is just as involved. The Carters were raised in a small town, and once you hear his words you will want more. I think of Lincoln growing up in a time that the Bible was one of 5 books Lincoln had as a child and how it influenced his life and his values. The Carters manage to avoid TV, and the Bible is at the center of their believes. I only wish I was raised the way they were. The Carters have done more for the world than you can imagine, their values are here, for everyone to listen to. I am not a big reader, so this CD is perfect. For those who think he did not do much as a President, just think how much a 100% honest man ... I really can not do justice to a perfect couple. Jimmy Carter is a man who I truly respect. His book is frank, honest and in touch. He is a Partisan politician at the core so keep that in mind. His religion is important in understand him as a man and on his views. He challenges current evangelical Christians but he does so with Christian charity. One of the things that seems lost by many today. The book is well written and his views are clear. Very good book!Jimmy Carter is a man who I truly respect. His book is frank, honest and in touch. Another Outstanding Book from Jimmy Carter!
This books hits right at the heart of what is so wrong with much of our population today. He really tells it like it is and doesn't hold back. It is refreshing to see an honest to goodness witness not scared of the truth and not influenced or intimidated by political pressures. Read the book and b sure to take a good, long, honest look at yourself and see where you stand in your own value system.This books hits right at the heart of what is so wrong with much of our population today.
