The book came new, shrink wrapped, in hard copy form and beautifully illustrated from its outside cover and all of its pages. James Cameron did an amazing job, putting together his talents, experiences, hard work, focus and dreams along with other suchlike individuals over the years to make The Making of Avatar possible, and for our viewing pleasure. Inside this wonderful book it details the early beginnings/drawings of each character/creature/plant,etc. to the finale. Everything that is a part of The Making of Avatar is discussed in detail, from the minutest part to the biggest, in all detail from its early part til its finale. Beautiful colorful (big and small) ... The Making of Avatar is Everything you wanted and more if you are an Avatar fan or one who just want to be in the know. The instruments used to transfer those feelings from the real people (actors)to the Avatars are explained in depth. I could hardly give you all of the wonders, intelligence, facts and beauty that is contained in this beautiful and amazing book, but I can say this for a fact - you will be more than satisfied and will feel this is definitely the book you were looking for to heighten, enlighten and awaken every sense that you have as an Avatar fan or person of interest! I tell you, I was so happy that James Cameron brought such a wonderful alien world to life, with all of its beauty and creatures, and made it more real to us than anything we could ever have imagined.
