Though unlikely heroes, loveable chipmunks Chip and Dale continually proved themselves perfectly suited to solving crimes in the animated series CHIP N'DALE RESCUE RANGERS. Premiering on the Disney Channel in 1989, RESCUE RANGERS became an after-school favorite of young viewers in the years that followed. The show revolved around two chipmunks' jobs for a secret international crime-solving organization. Assigned to cases the police deem too petty and insignificant to bother with themselves, Chip and Dale find a way to turn each job into a full-blown adventure. With other likeable characters like chubby cheese-addicted mouse Monterey Jack, female mouse Gadget Hackwrench, and blue fly Zipper on their sides, the Rescue Rangers try to put their enemies Fat Cat and Professor Nimbul to shame. Between Nimbul's ever-evolving plans for taking over the universe, to Fat Cat's relentless attempts at revenge, Chip, Dale, and their team of furry allies have got their paws full. This release contains episodes 1-27.

Nice and kind series where the viewer empathizes with the heroes.
"Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers" - remarkable TV serial. Is unique in that it spawned rich a world of fanfiction and fanart. So far there are many fans this serial around the world. And after all since inception has been more than 20 years! If to tell about the Chip how it is written in the official description "...he is the most organized and pragmatic chipmunk..." it means to tell nothing about him. Actually Chip - the real Rescue Ranger. He considers the duty to help everyone who has got in a trouble. (Chip: "We are Rescue Rangers! It is our duty..."). The team considers him a leader, because he is most responsible and able to instantly orient in any situation. As a result of this he undertakes the raised obligations. Dale is a very thoughtless and cheery chipmunk. At first sight, you might think that he is stupid, but it is not true. Actually, Dale's vision of the world is a little different from the usual. He believes in superheroes and wants to be like them. Dale is easily carried away by something and just doesn't think about the consequences. But however Dale is the perfect balance for the too responsible and serious Chip. In dangerous situations the chipmunks act like a well-organized mechanism, easily, almost without words understanding each other. Gadget is the core that keeps the members of the team together. If Chip and Dale have a personal attraction to Gadget, then with Monty and Zipper she is joined by a long standing friendship. Reasoning from that, Gadget joined the team without any problems and right away felt herself the right man in the right place. In the team Gadget is responsible for all kinds of electromechanical things, about which the others know only the fundamentals and don't interfere in her work, because of that the team is intact and safe so far. On a voluntary basis Gadget introduce that indescribable element of a home cosiness, over which all members aspire for find themself together in the warm conference room once again after realization their inclination for adventures and long travels. Monterrey Jack is a real traveller, like his parents. Probably, his inclination for travel can be explained by searching for a good cheese. Monterrey Jack has visited many countries, but it's hard to figure out where he was born. His official biography says that he has an australian accent, and Monty talks quite frequently about his adventures in Australia. He has a quite soft character, but he can quickly come to blows and at times Monty can even defeat an enemy who is much bigger than he is. Monterrey Jack prefers brute force over planning. Zipper is a little fly. In spite of his very small size, Zipper is a very important member of the Rescue Rangers, because he can fly and because of his size, Zipper is a magnificent spy. Sometimes he shows amazing strength, for a short time though. It appears Zipper doesn't realise his contributions to the team, trying to become stronger, but in some episodes it was shown that size and strength are not always the most important things. Nice and kind series where the viewer empathizes with the heroes.

My 5 year old loves it. No interruptions!
Keeps him busy. Does not give me a headache. Minimal annoying music.

the dvd's are fantastic
these dvd's bring back such memories, this is a must for all fans and perfect for your little ones to watch , show them what mom and dad watched , i really think they will enjoy them as much as my kids do, my kids had no clue who rescue rangers ( chip & dale ) were until i asked them if they knew they said no and i played a clip on youtube after that they were hooked i brought volume one and two and it was money well spent since its wholesome enjoyment for them a must have AAA+++++++ on this setthese dvd's bring back such memories, this is a must for all fans and perfect for your little ones to watch , show them what mom and dad watched , i really think they will enjoy them as much as my kids do, my kids had no clue who rescue rangers ( chip & dale ) were until i asked them if they knew they said no and i played a clip on youtube after that they were hooked i brought volume one and two and it was money well spent since its wholesome enjoyment for them a must have AAA+++++++ on this set

Chip N Dale's Resuce Rangers
There's no case too big or case to small...when you need help just call...ch-ch-chch-chip n dale, rescue rangers! I watched this show when I was a kid back in the 80's and now my kids are loving it too! I never realzied how much "life" skills are taught in it. It definatley teaches my kids more substance than Spongebob Squaremind.
