    Pretty Good Piece as it Comes? .

    Always wanted one, I really like the lighter & somewhat thinner blade form. Grips are slippery & the factory edge was, lets say pitiful and leave it at that? After sharpening & replacement grips it is Very Nice! In fairness I could have address the slipperiness myself, the look of the aftermarket grips are nicer & are way more grippy too.

    Lousy Grips

    Everything is good except for the grips, hard to believe Ka Bar ever allowed those grips/handles/scales to leave the shop! Way to slick for the weight & design of the blade which would be perfect if you could hold onto it during a swing of the blade. Looking for replacements or a small rubber bicycle tube to place over the handle to make it safely operable.

    Long knife, handle.

    This thing is nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is the handle. For me the handle isn’t long enough. Especially for a chopper. I feel like the handle is very important when you’re swinging a sharp edge around. The good news is the handle is easily taken off and replaceable. Just my thoughts.

    Well Made In the USA

    Did quite a bit of research before buying. could not find a better deal for quality & price and USA manufacturer. Very satisfied with my decision.

    Good tool. Very solid, full-tang (I think all knives of this type should be) only problem I have with it is the handle. Too smooth, too slippery.

    Had to put some grip-tape on it, which greatly improved it. All in all, good knife. Worth the cash.
