    The easiest Digital Media Player ever!!

    I got this for my dad who is 84 and wanted to be able to take his pictures with him to his air force reunions and such. It is wonderful and very easy for him to work. He can use basic computer skills so this was just fine. He wants to download some movies for when he travels, to watch on the plane. The resolution of the pictures is wonderful and he likes the scroll option. I would tell anyone who wanted a very portable and easy to use media player to get this one . Very reasonable price for the quality of the pictures. A+++!!

    Archos 504 PMP and DVR

    Archos 505 is a good unit and very handy for traveling with movies and mp3s. The unit does have one very annoying trait... It is very prone to resetting upon touching it. This is due to static discharge from the dry winter air. It also has a tendency to lock up and have to be reset due to poor design of the USB to Archos cable connection on the bottom of the Archos 504. I am not commenting on the last unit I bought. I have three and they all behave the same. I still like the Archos 504 despite the two annoying design defects. I do not use the scheduling capability to record automatically so I cannot comment on that feature.

    The Best of the Best

    Compact, Awsome 16 x 9 Video, I have over 10,000 songs, 3500 pictures, 29 videos in size from 1 to 8 gig, my address book and It still has 20 gig free! Simple operation, media player or itunes, even podcasts with the archos plug in. Can't rave enough. Additionally I purchased the speakerdock, which works great by the way, LOUD and crystal clear!!! The stand up leather case which was an additional purchase, is made very high quality and protects the unit with easy access to any controls. I have an Ipod too, but it is no match for the Archos 504. The only improvements I could see possible would be a larger capacity battery (which is available at an additional cost). All said and done if I were to upgrade again it will definitely be another Archos. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to ...

    AWSOME PRODUCT! MORE SPACE!

    Archos 504 80 GB, works great. Had no problems with working with my DVR. It had captured my favorite shows with no problem by using the Archos DVR station. After fifteen to sixteen episodes, I had 20 to 21 GB left over, which I had thought was awsome. A lot more hours compared to the 30 GB Archos. The quality was very very good, DVD quality, compared to using a VHS tape. Its a video player, video recorder, MP3 player and picture viewer all in one, which is nice. I wish I could get another one down the road. I had bought this used, and it works just great with no problem. Oh by the way the seller was an excellent seller as well.

    ARCHOS top of THE LINE PRODUCTS

    I meet ARCHOS about 5 years ago..maybe more. not sure. I first meet them when they offered the MJB on the MARKET. I got the whole kit!. MAN i even recorded people at there work..an made a short movie with it an won SECOND PLACE. it recorded on the fly into DIVX. Also i had a SPIDERMAN movie party. Ever watch a movie with the ARCHO MJB-20? we did it was WOW. I used it to watch SOUTHPARK on it on my way home as it was put on the dash. Then they came out with the ARCHOS AV line. BAM instant jump for me. I managed to get the AV700 100gb. BLEW ME AWAY! I loved it so much i bought another one for my living room. I call them the BUNKERS!.I have ARCHIE in my bedroom an EDITH in the living room. Now they have the AV405-AV505-Av705. They got me hooked. I now purchased the AV504. So hes going into my ...
