Very good game
Nice example of a franchise renewal. This is fine example of EA determination to get more substantial results in sports games EA FIFA 09 raise the bar of expectation and went to a more adaptative and smoother game play in latest franchise years. Despite of some points that are still positive in PES franchise this EA FIFA 09 is a great option for this holidays whether if you like or not EA. EA is getting to the point. Is not 100% yet in terms of fan-based comment since I've played all the versions of both games PES since PS 1 (previously called winning eleven) and all FIFA versions. This time they got it right. A step up from fifa 08
FIFA Soccer 09 I believe is definitely a step up from the previous 08 version. The movement of the players is much more realistic and I like the "be a pro season" option where you can create your own character and build him up to be called up to the first team. There is also a chance for you to play for your country as well all the while having to perform well to maintain your status at both club and country level. All in all I think it's a great game and definitely a step up from Fifa 08.FIFA Soccer 09 I believe is definitely a step up from the previous 08 version. Finally caught up to Winning Eleven!
This is the best game in the FIFA series by far. The game has every team imaginable, on an HD TV it plays at 1080p and looks and sounds great. Online can be laggy at times but once you connect to the web with the game, it updates your rosters within seconds and has the most recent soccer headlines available. I was afraid at how playing with 4 players would turn out but it it provides some great entertainment with 2v2 games amongst your friends. The dribbling system is almost perfect and allows for some pretty nifty footwork. The passing which bothered me in past FIFA games has been done exceptionally with through balls and one touch passes being a thing of ease. Great game to play with friends, online, or even to start a franchise with!This is the best game in the FIFA series by far. As a FIFA soccer fanatic, the FIFA Soccer 09 will not disappoint those that enjoy the sport. Featuring a massive number of improvements, FIFA Soccer 09 now has improved responsiveness for faster passing and shooting, a jostle system that takes into account the strength of players when dashing for a ball, new goalkeeper technology for better positioning, improved reflexes and faster recovery after saving, etc. I appreciate these drastic changes because they have enhanced the reality of the game which creates more entertainment for me as well as the rest of the FIFA soccer fans around the world. You will not be bored from this game as you will have the varied options of selecting among 500 teams and 30 leagues.
