Product Information

The second expansion pack for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Breakthrough is set in the European Theatre of Operations from 1943-1944. Players take control of U.S. Army Sergeant John Baker in 11 new single-player missions. Some of the new missions include the battle for Kasserine Pass in North Africa, a fight to capture Messina in Sicily, and the historic battle of Monte Battaglia, also in Italy.<br><br>Multiplayer includes both Tug of War and Objective modes, as well as the new Liberation Mode. In Liberation Mode, players who are defeated become POWs and must be rescued by their teammates in order to continue playing. There are also nine new maps in multiplayer, including Anzio Beach, the Monastery at Monte Cassino, and the streets of Messina. New player models, skins, and voices have been added for American, British, and Italian soldiers too.<br><br>For historical accuracy Electronic Arts consulted with Captain Dale Dye, a well-known military technical advisor to Hollywood. Dye has worked on such projects as Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Band of Brothers, and previous games in the Medal of Honor series.

    Classic Video Game for PC

    This is an all time classic game. For me what makes it great is you can just pick it up and play without having to read a 500pg. manual about controls, play etc... It's simple to play and yet challenging. It also seems to learn and adapt to a player's strategy which makes things a bit more interesting.

    MOH -Allied Assault Breakthrough

    Very happy with game. Loaded almost flawless. Had to change some directX lineup though, since I run about 2 dozen similar games. Might be more fun if there where workable cheat codes. The commands are virtually the same as with other MOH games regardless whether EA games or one of the other manufacturers made it. The genre is about the same with other MOH games, if you like consistency in same series games, you would be happy with this games series line up. Be sure you start with the basic "Assualt" game loaded first or you may end up with all kinds of loading and playing problems. The only drawback is that you need all of the MOH series to load any new ones in the series.

    Awesome WW2 game, can be played on average systems!

    Alot of fun, and it is an old game that does not require a really fast gaming PC. I play it on myDell XPS notebook that I use for work and school. Buy it!
