INSANELY AWESOME BOOK!!
I LOVE this book!!! It has SERIOUSLY helped us to get out of debt. Dave Ramsey speaks like a real person, and not like some over-educated know-it-all!!! It's an easy read, yet really helps you to TAKE ACTION, get your debt snowball rolling and get out of debt!! His quote that he uses throughout the book is "live like no one else so one day you can like like no one else". I think of this all the time, because it's so true. I read the TMM in January, and ACTUALLY PAID OF MY CAR TODAY (no joke...sent in a big fat tax return check to GMAC!!) It felt so good....but would I have paid of my car two years early if I hadn't of read this book....NO! So the TMM is amazing. It helps you take control of what you have just forgotten that you have control over: Debt. This book is ... I LOVE this book!!! It has SERIOUSLY helped us to get out of debt. I HAVE BEEN MADE OVER!!!!!
This is a great book. It is easy reading. It is also basic common sense that we all know deep in our heart, but Dave "smacks" us in the head. He lets you know what you are gaining by using credit cards - NOTHING. In fact you are losing your future. I am 55 years old and have some savings, but boy I could have been a millionaire if I would have followed this plan even 15 years ago. What a wake up call. Every young person in America needs to read this book. It needs to be taught in our school system. Maybe then people in this country will learn that the government doesn't bail you out - you do! We are each responsible for our own stupid or smart decisions. Dave Ramey is my hero! Keep it up Dave.This is a great book. It is easy reading. Awesome foolproof book that every family should have in their library
Dave Ramsey will take you from being in debt with bad credit, to being debt free in less than 10 years. You'll be able to see the future and look forward to paying off each debt with confidence. The 3rd Edition of the book is out but if this one is less expensive, just get this one. The book was a gift to me, but I this one for my daughter and I pray that she reads and lives by it. I started the debt snowball in June of 2011 and I'll pay off one $1,200 debt in Mid July, and another $1,200 debt in August and so forth. The book is idiot proof. Heads UP!!! Don't get too excited and start buying all the products that Dave has on the Market. Remember you are trying to get out of debt and stop spending. YOU NEED TO READ THIS TOO! Get debt free fast!
I Love the way he talks - simple and uncomplicated. It’s an easy read - no complicated formulas - he tells it like it is. You are living above your means, stop it and live this way to debt free. Then once you are debt free, he give you suggestions on what to do with your money so you avoid the traps of before and start building wealth, retirement, kids collage funds, and investing. Most people following his plan pay it off in under 3 years if they are dedicated (average debt - some have more some have less, and it depends on how much of your stuff you are willing to cut down on) . We are dedicated and on the plan for 1 month now. In the first month – every spare penny from paychecks and selling things on CraigsList from around the house .. we paid for OVER $2000!!!!
