Be VERY CAREFUL when buying from this seller. Sold me a router that did not work when I received it, contacted seller, his statement was it worked when he unhooked it. Had to get asus techsupport to help reinstall firmware. Seller sent vulgar last message to me. I think he thinks he is a lawyer or something by the way he acts in the last message. Reported this to ebay, don't know what they will do if anything.

The buyer caused the firmware issue when he attempted to update the router. I confirmed this with Asus technical support. He then demanded a refund of the already heavily discounted price and wanted to argue via dozens of messages about a technical issue he created and had to be pushed to resolve on his own. Instead of admitting fault he threatened to leave negative feedback. Extremely dishonest and incompetent. Treats you like a low level customer service rep if anything goes wrong. No thanks.

JBL 308P are good for their price.
I have had a recording studio for many years. I had Tannoy 6D speakers and Yamaha NS10s On my bridge. With age I have sold most of the analog audio gear. My Tannoys finally died after 15 years of good use. I bought these because the rest of my house has JBL speakers. These are good speakers. Not as much bass as I would have liked. I interfaced a graphic equalizer and used the Tannoy Sub and it is very good now. Now I am using the JBL 308P speakers on each side of my LG 55” OLED monitor in my MacPro. DaVinci Resolve 17 Studio. The speakers are well-defined but, not as good as the Tannoy reference monitors. For the price, a steal. INSUFFICIENT BASS. LSR308P does not deserve the JBL label.
The sound field is well dispersed, in line with the marketing blurbs, but INSUFFICIENT BASS is the downfall of JBL's LSR308P. Without the partner sub, I still expect some bass from a monitor; certainly from a JBL monitor. Here, there is simply not enough bass to establish a reasonable mix. Because both speakers sound exactly the same, and there are no visual or acoustic indications of damage, I do not think the pair I received is in any way damaged or below par for this model. There are many lesser speaker manufactures out there -- I thought that by purchasing JBL, I would avoid disappointment. IMO, the LSR308P does not deserve the JBL label. These 8" monitors are the *very worst* for bass that I have ever encountered. They now sit in boxes in my basement, and serve to remind me that I ... JBLs RULE!
Got a great deal on these speakers as an "open box" special and then got an even better price after offering a slightly lower amount. The JBL 308P MkII monitors are crisp and clean with just the right amount of bottom end for my studio. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for mid price studio monitors when quality and hi-fidelity sound are the priority, but the budget won't allow for Adams or Focal.Got a great deal on these speakers as an "open box" special and then got an even better price after offering a slightly lower amount.
