    The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

    I have read many books in the past like this. The laws of attraction are not new ideas. Unfortunately, what the book fails to bring to light is the importance of praying for guidance to God, the universe, whatever your bigger than yourself entity is before you make demands on the universe. Humanity as a race is self-will run riot and often times the universe will respond whether in your best interests or not. I only wish the book had expressed the importance that we don't always know what is in our VERY best interests in the long run. I do believe that with proper guidance under Gods gentle and loving hands, the practices of The Secret will bear great fruit in your life, and the lives of those around you. Sincerely, Debra J. Vena

    Great way to start the day.....

    I have used a lot of mediation books for daily readings and this one, by far, it the best. I is informative and a guide to work on a single shortcoming in your life on a daily basis. It helped me grow spiritually more than ever. Although orientated towards recover, any man could use this book and benefit from it.

    A fine read for all.

    In the 8 years in recovery this book is my favorite daily reading. Each day starts out with a quote from a famous person concerning life & character building. The quotes are then tied into recovery. I find it enjoyable to start the day with these quotes and look forward to who is chosen. I bought this one for my home group. The reading may be designed with men in mind but I find it is not gender specific.

    Small review of a little book...

    This little book consists of daily tidbits of wisdom on recovery themes. They are so uplifting and make my life so much better. I would recommend it to anyone, not only to the members of the recovery community. It has inspirations for life and everyone needs inspiration from time to time.
