I wish it had been more technique detailed
The Prepper's Long-Term Survival Guide is a comprehensive guide to preparing for long-term survival in the event of a disaster. The book covers a wide range of topics, including food storage, water purification, shelter construction, security, and off-the-grid power. The author, Jim Cobb, is a lifelong prepper and survivalist, and he brings his expertise to the book. The information is well-organized and easy to follow, and Cobb provides practical advice that can be used by anyone. The issue I had with the book is that the fake scenarios of how people might react in a survival situation seem antiquated and ridiculous. I wasn't fond of that. Also - there are not enough techniques and details on how to perform some of the tasks. Some of the information is outdated, and the book could be ... A little daunting
A little daunting like setting up communal rules and enforcement after there is no longer organized systems of governance. Lots of things to think about. I bit off a big bite with several books about self containment and surviving off grid. I need time to review this text but it seems authoritative and genuine and certainly makes the reader aware of how difficult things could get after a big crash or even just in a community of like minded folks wanting to live seriously off grid.A little daunting like setting up communal rules and enforcement after there is no longer organized systems of governance. Wise ways to survive!
If you want quick and easy to learn ways to survive and prep up this book is an excellent starter for you! It covers a wide array from A to Z of prepping pioneer style!

Excellent much needed survival information!
This noo is excellent and very extensive, it is huge! I’m very impressed with all the information and everything that is covered in this book. If I could pick just one book on survival this is it!!

Good for new preppers
Not a very heavy read, but a good read. Especially if you are new to prepping and more experienced preppers as well
